Lake Simcoe Angler Diary

TJQ

Recommended Posts

Dear Lake Simcoe Stakeholder,

The Lake Simcoe Fisheries Stakeholder Committee in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources would like to encourage more anglers to participate in the Lake Simcoe Angler Diary program. The objectives of the diary program are to engage anglers, obtain advanced information and alert us to changes in angler success and other fish community patterns. This important information will augment the many other monitoring tools we use to help improve and evaluate fisheries management on Lake Simcoe.

We encourage you to forward this email to any anglers who you think may be interested in participating in this program. If you would like to participate in the angler diary program for the 2010 fishing season please let us know so that we can mail you a dairy. Please respond to this email with your contact information including name, mailing address and phone number. We will send you a diary as soon as possible. Once you receive it, please put your name and phone number at the top of the first page. The diary is printed on waterproof paper so that you can fill out the information while out on the lake, regardless of weather conditions.

Once again, thank you very much for your support of this program and for your continued efforts to help us manage the Lake Simcoe fishery. If you have any questions, please contact Jason by phone or e-mail.

Thank you for your participation.
