Went out for a fish tonightfor a couple hrs,here's what i caught

Hey bassman,

Is that a waterpuppy? I heard that they are a top bait for muskie, pike and BIG largemouth but I am not sure if you can use them. I have never seen one in real life. must have been kinda crazy pulling that out of the hole. Iam heading to quinte next weekend is there anywere you can suggest? Cool pics

Usually if i want to find a productive spot to ice fish on Simcoe or Quinte,

i'll look for old ice holes with cig butts, urine and especially blood stains around them.

 

Works for me.

Hmmm... Either there were fisherman or there was some sort of fight and you wouldn't wanna be around... Only problem with that is those fishes move so fast... could be there one day, and gone the next

Those mudpuppies are getting popular, I had no idea what they were until the 3rd one posted on this site. They do look like awesome bait.

I've never caught a pup, what was it like pulling that out of the ice?

 

Very interesting looking fish, sort of looks like it should be out of the left side of one of those evolution pics.
