Looking for a good boat launch on Sturgeon lake

I am heading out to Sturgeon tomorrow, can anyone recomend a good boat launch around 35 & 7

also and tips would be nice, it has been 20 years since I have been out on Sturgeon

hey i love sturgeon! i'm not sure if this is close to the location you mentioned but there is a boat launch on long beach rd right where the road meets the lake. i think the fee is like 5 bucks you needto pay it at the general store, and they open up the gate for you. its right at the long beach marina... except the marina went bankrupt.. supposed to be a good walleye lake about 100 meters or so out into the water from the shore. a clear weed line runs at about 13 feet from what i remember aafter there's a good slope that dropes to about 25-30 ft. again its a hot walleye lake but really all of caught there are bass but i think it's because i didnt have the patience for the walleye fishing i need to be hittin docls and hunting the fish! but then again i was fishing alone on the boat!
