lake and lodge suggestions

Planning a boys trip at the end of sept. Looking for a lake that has good pike bass fishing. As well a a decent cheap lodge. Was thinking no more than a couple hours north of temagami

go to elephant lake lodge in bancroft fish 3 lakes benoir/elephant/bapteatste

 

it will only cost friday to sunday at most $180 per person $90 as night all meals included (american plan)with cabin and the fishing is good there

 

or limerick lake lodge

 

$100 a night all inclusive (3 meals a day) and cabin

I was gonna say Temagami...can't comment on Papa John's....though I AM partial to the name Couple really nice places on Lady Evelyn though....watch the banner ads here on OFC...Gowganda has a few nice places as well....

if you are thinking temagami check tamarvacations.com. great spot for the guys, starting with a barge ride across temagami and a stay at a very private island (see - no rules in the dictionary)
