brandon Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 Rise Against was in Vancouver last night to kick off their tour along with Rancid and the Riverboat Gamblers. I was able to get on the photo list for Rise Against. Other than one local small concert, this was my first real one I've photographed so it was a pretty cool experience with some rules to get used to. The rules are, first 3 songs and no flash. So it's a mad rush to get as many photos as you can during the first 3 songs. After the 3rd song all the photographers were ushered right out of the building....here is what I came up with....
Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted June 5, 2009 Report Posted June 5, 2009 cool stuff...i've seen rise against a few times and they are a good time. sweet pics!
Handlebarz Posted June 11, 2009 Report Posted June 11, 2009 very nice Brandon did you head back in for Rancid?
brandon Posted June 12, 2009 Author Report Posted June 12, 2009 Rancid opened for Rise Against so I got to see them first but I didn't ask beforehand to take pics of rancid....i assumed it was only the headlining band that I needed permission for but this wasn't the case. It was the first real concert I took pics of so now I know for next time to ask for permission from all the bands on the bill
nofrills Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 Those are awesome shots man. The wife and I are huge fans! Any chance I can get the full rez versions, or buy some prints straight from you? Love to have a few to hang on the wall. I'm going to the Toronto show at the end of July. Should be amazing! If you can help, let me know!
pameladallaire Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Great portrait shots Brandon, you're doing great! Keep on shooting, I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Pam
