Last weekend I could only find one family of goslings/ducklings so I had to head out again today in search of more. This time I had a few different families to choose from. I also came across a few other birds as well...enjoy

Nicely composed shots Brandon. It's a little early for Canada Geese chicks here just yet. I never understood the reason that so many photographers shoot birds. But I'm beginning to understand now. It's the challenge. Time permitting, I'll be looking for birds and bif's soon.

What's your best birding lens??

Posted

Dan,

My best birding lens is my Canon 100-400mm lens with Image Stabilization. It covers a wide zoom range and the IS makes shooting handled very easy and in most cases when I'm shooting birds or wildlife I'm always handholding the camera.
