Goslings

I went out today in search of some goslings or ducklings to photograph because nothing says spring like baby ducks and geese.....however i was still a bit early and there were still ducks and geese sitting on nests. I did manage to find one family though....

 

 

 

 

 

and this swallow looked like it could be a cartoon character so I took a picture of it as well

Were you able to get real close to them or what!! Last time I tried that, the Momma got real peeved off at me. Had to sit in the vehicle for 1 hour before being able to get back out.

lol the key is to try and figure out where they're headed, then position yourself along that path so they end up coming to you. A big zoom lens helps a lot too
