does anyone know the ice conditions in windemere the 1st of january is aproaching fast and i normally make it first trip of the year would be greatfull to get any info thanks

I thought you meant Lake Rosseau.... From all that I've heard, I'm guessing it's a no-go...sorry to say I won't be up there this year. Try calling Bait on the Lake @ (705) 765-1600 He will give you the inside scoop
