addy79 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Hi Guys, Quick question... My boss wants to take a client fishing for a day this Thursday. He's from the west coast and loves river fishing. I'm not familiar with this type of fishing at all so I need a little help. He wants a river with in season action for anything from Browns to maybe smallmouth. I was thinking the Grand was his best bet, but figured I'd open the floor to some suggestions. Thanks in advance...
highdrifter Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Forks of the Credit.. if he doesn't mind downsizing a little. cheers HD
addy79 Posted June 23, 2008 Author Report Posted June 23, 2008 NIAGARA!! forgot about that one! anyone know of a good location to fish from shore?
davew3 Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 I would agree to the Forks of the Credit. In the park and just above it. North of Brampton off hwy 10.
timmeh Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Bass are not in season yet so you shouldn't go looking for smallmouth for another week. If you're looking for browns the upper Grand is a decent spot. However most of it is a no kill zone, barbless hooks, no organic bait, etc. so you'll need to consider that.
