johnnyb Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 I spent a year down in Sarnia and remember the exceptional walleye fishing around this time of year, but now that I'm a good 3 hour drive from the St. Clair, it's hard to keep tabs on whether or not the night bite is on. Just wondering if anyone on the board is down in that area and can tell me what's been going on? I'm thinking about driving down this weekend with a pile of white and green twister tails...just don't know if the time is right. Any reports/updates would be GREATLY appreciated
AzuluSpookd Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 On the Detroit there was 100 boats in one area....they are starting now.... We're heading down to the Detroit River Next week. I'll post a report when we get back.
cthewrld Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 I'm heading down next week as well. The feedback I have is that the water has pretty much cleared, and the fish are biting! I will post a report when I get back.
johnnyb Posted April 24, 2008 Author Report Posted April 24, 2008 thanks for the info, guys! It is coming down to a super tough decision between ice-out lakers on a certain lake up north, or draggin' jigs on the St.Clair...good luck to you
