Smelt accesories

Hey guys. Looking forward to another season of fishing! Its only a mater of time now! In the meantime? I wanted to try for some smelts. The last time I went, my friends forgot my net and everything! I went to get the car and they loaded everything but my stuff!!

 

Anyways, I want to buy another 6 ft thingy with the net. Does anyone know where I can buy one in Toronto? I think I checked last year at BPS and they didn't have any.

 

Also I'd like to know if anyone has any word if the smelts are running. If so? PM me.

I think lebaron has them,or try tightlines in pickering,and oh ya,canadian tire used to sell smelt nets,im sure they would still have them,and they should be starting in a few weeks,but the lake temps are still alittle bit behind so im not sure if that will delay them for a week or so,i will look into it and if i find out i will give you a shout !!!! cheers

They are just starting here in North Bay, a buddy of mine went last night but I haven't heard how he did yet. I will let you know when I hear from him.
