What kind of fish can i expect to get in july on the ottawa river, am i likely to find walleye, musky or any other larger fish in that time frame? We get some decent walleye, pike (caught one close to 20 last year) , big cats and sturgeon and lots of nice bass, the odd 5 pounder. There are no musky that I know of in my part of the river but there might be in that part. It's a nice place though and I love every minute I spend there. Good luck fishin'. napjohn8 Posted April 2, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 btw to add i am near whitewater region just north of portage-du-fort and doing only shore fishing however i feel i can catch bass from shore by casting, may get luck with some pike.
