bucktail Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 How depressing.... looking at the Environment Canada website on Great Lake ice coverage. In the last few weeks when we are supposed to be slowly loosing ice we gained more then at any other time in the year! Without a very significant warm up ( which isn't forecasted) it looks like ice out will be at least 3 weeks later then normal. Hey I am just the messenger! Check it out.
johnnyb Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 And this is BAD news? Let me get my auger....
Headhunter Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 Here Perchie Perchie Perchie! LOL Late ice means more opportunities for a feed or two of Perch, without freezing your ba doop do off doing it! Thanks, HH
Ramble Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 I love the late ice! All this snow keeps my mind more or less focused on school, and I get to go perching this weekend!! Not to mention more water later in the year. -R-
boatman Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 And the problem is???????????????????? I can't launch my boat on the ice. I feel your pain, bucktail. I've been waiting 3 months for the ice to melt.
