first attempt with this HDR thing

I was sitting in front of the computer and thought I would try it.I used Photomatix with pics taken from my cheap 6MP camera.I combined 3 shots and fiddled around with it.Don't know if I did it right but here is what I came up with.

I am not sure how to get rid of the water marks as it is a trial version.Anyway,am pretty interested in this and will try more.

That looks pretty good, the sky should be more defined though. HDR helps bring out the clouds or the bright blue sky.
