Rice lake

Heading out to rice lake tomorrow. my first fall outing ever leaving from Whispering Pines cottages (Keen) I was wondering what kind of bait or lures to use this time of year or weather to look for weeds or rocks and what depths to look for any advice would be great..

Rice lake has some really nice bass but it's a hard place since it's so big unless you know the area. I tend to like to fish the soutside of the lake. Maybe try Gore's landing, they have boat rentals as well.

Quite a few camps are already closed for the season; you might want to give them a call just to be sure.
