i just picked up the revo stx. excellent reel imo. Liked it a lot better than the new curado.

Nice pike. I always want to try to get out but never do. Not familiar with spots.

Bought storm swim baits and wiggle o's before. No luck haha. Only got a reel and a bunch of line.

bought an abu revo stx. nice reel imo. looked at the zillion but couldnt justify spending 100 more for it. tried the new curado, to small for my liking, felt weird in my hand, also felt sort of cheap cause some parts had a little of play. Other than that i still believe its great for the price at bps. now im wondering if i should just get a $100 rod or go for something bigger. Sensitivity a plus when flipping and pitching?

What ate some good baits to use

50 lb braid. What brand of rod. High speed bait casters worl ok? I'm going to attempt to learn this technique:)

I do like the zillion. Would of bought japanese but the exchange rate sucks now. Which e21. Looked at them before. There warranty any good in Canada

Want to stay away from quantum. havent had much luck with them in the past I do however prefer magnetic brake. easier to change. although i can cast with either methods no problem. Any rod recommendations. Stuck with shimano before because of their warranty.

Could always get a m action rod and switch the reels around Lol. I don't really follow a rod for specific techniques. As long as I have a rod ready without having to retie every lure.

Money isn't an issue. But I could get a good reel and rod for that price. Both my reels have a slower rate of retrieve so I want a quicker ratio. Fish for pike bass and walleye.
