  1. Interested in getting a few pike and was wondering if there are any catfish?
  2. I got the perch one a few weeks ago, they look awesome but I have not got a single fish, I always go back to my tried and true Xraps. I fish they had better action. I also picked up the frog this bait is awesome and I have had a few misses on this bait.
  3. All around downtown London. i have caught 470 fish this year mostly in London.
  4. Hey guys Iam heading to my dads for the long weekend, I will be fishing Muskoka a lot but I am also planning a outing on Kahshe for a change of pace. I have read about all the rocks but Iam not bothered because I have the navionics charts and it looks pretty detailed shows a lot of x lol But I am mostly interested in finding Large mouth does anyone have and tips and or spots to try. Thx
  5. Nice pics there is another show this weekend in St Thomas.
  6. I lost another eye tonight and some how the hook came off one???? Does anyone no where to buy new eye do craft stores sell stuff like that? On another note what colours do people like the best?
  7. I have to say xraps have become my Favorite lure they catch fish but they seem to fall apart with out much effort like the eyes or the paint always come off mine in as little as a week. Anyone else have this problem.
  8. Iam not sure of the hook size but its not very big, for the worm a full dew worm hooked once, don't hook it into a ball.
  9. I have never had a problem finding walleye but I have never got this many big ones before I think having the new slot limit will be great for the lake, we will have some real Hogs.
  10. Even with the weather I took the drive Home to my dads from London to see if I could catch a few fish. Saturday came around and the weather was not too good but the walleye where biting and they where big. We had a hard time catching any small ones to eat, we fish all day to get 6, 3 each. Everyone we caught was to big and over the slot limit largest was 7.5 pounds we got 3 or so around 6 and a few around 5. We were just using a worm and a hook, simple works. I did try throwing a lure but nothing hit. Two pike also took the worm the big one broke the the line it must of been around 10 pounds it jumped near the boat. I went out Sunday and only got one small pike that was small enough that it could of lived in my aquarium.
  11. What happens to the fish? does the MNR take them?
  12. Hey yes you can lunch and park for free at Gravenhurst Bay. As for conditions it can get pretty rough if your going down the middle of the lake but there are lots of bays and Islands so you should not have a problem.
  13. Bucket fisherman I am glad the CO got them. I think we need more as I hardly see them. I have seen them at Tims more then I have on the water.
  14. Storm heading your way Check out the Radar My link
  15. Just wondering as I have not seen any reports yet.
  16. I have been using 832 since April and have caught over 300 fish this year using it, I would not go back to powerpro. Also I have not found that the line fades much it still looks almost new even after 2 months and nearly being used daily.
  17. hey I have caught a few nice cat fish on the thames its pretty simple really I just use a circle hook with a sliding sinker or a few split shots depends on the current. I have used many different things worms and raw bacon work good but cut sucker takes the nod for the biggest. As for walleye they are kinda every where and I have never caught them in the same spot I think they just roam looking for food.
  18. I got the 700 version With DI and GPs and love it, its pretty simple to use just read the book or just take it out for a day and play around with it.
  19. Hey guys I was just wondering how come in some body's of water pan-fish get so big yet in others they are tiny. For example perch on lake Simcoe vs perch in Muskoka lake big difference there in in size.
  20. I have fished out of all 3 but mostly out of Gravenhurst and Bracebridge. If you want bass then well they are every where just try near shore along drop offs or on weedbeds, or even better if you can just go fish under peoples docks. If you want Pike then if you lunch out of Gravenhurst then you can try fishing near the fire collage there is a bay there with good weeds. You you go out of Bracebridge then you can fish allports bay. Unfortunately for walleye I don't know any reliable sports except at the mouth of the river in the evening and at night. PM me if you need any more help.
  21. Yes there is pike in there but Small-mouth rule in terms of numbers.
  22. Both rogers and bell are crap and they just take advantage of us because there is just two big players. two months ago I got rid of rogers for good and got teksavvy it was a much better deal.
  23. This year me and my Dad bought a Star craft its a 2008 but it was only used 4 times. This weekend was the fist real test of the boat on lake Muskoka after 5 days using it I have no regrets its a solid well built boat.
