That JVR goal was insane!!!!
Knocking it out of mid air and staying onside was
From behind and over his head lol
I wish those other two chances found the net
-
Almost game time!

Lol, Rick you just described my tortuous video production process! Very little snow this year and it went from -30 to plus temps overnight a few weeks back. Kevin was making noises about community my up in the winter to ice fish...you guys should make a plan.
Forecast is plus 19C today.
Yep, same here in emo. Kiddos are already out playing basketball ???

This would probably work awesome on pannies. Super accurate cuts IM guessingIn my work cutting film many years ago we used surgical knives stainless Stella handle witha #11A surgical blade. urry's art store carries them.
The handle is flat, very comfortable to use. Hold it like a pen.

Thanks Kickinfrog for the pics. I can't believe those eyes were smashing those big baits.
If their hungry they'll smash whatever.
Small pike are you worst for that. Trying to a bait larger than they are lol

Unless it's cold outside then that's being generous!
Lol

For the win...
Until the 2 1/2 inch grub comments start...

The secret to not getting hooked by a thrashing fish is dull hooks.
Lol. I wish that were true. I don't sharpen hooks at all and I've still got a few piercings
-
To avoid accidents. To hide secret lures? Or lessen the possibility of hook in a body part?
My lures are no secret lol.

Nice Rob!!!! Great pics!
You're brave. I ditched the "lure in mouth photo" years ago

Wow what a limp effort. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Worse D in the history of the game.
Jeebus. Did you ever watch the nordiques?
Leafs aren't even close to the worst d ever

I haven't used the bps 100mph suit so I have no comparison to draw.I'm interested lol. Is the gear wind proof as well as waterproof? What would be a comparable set to the Bps 100mph stuff? I'm looking for a set for myself and the girlfriend.
But I'll fish in storms and stay warm and dry, for whatever that is worth.

My cheap storm tech gear has lasted 5 years thus far, and trust me it's tried and tested. I've worn it fishing and even moreso mining. I ripped a pocket on the pants last year so one zipper doesn't work. How long have you guys/gals had the guidewear/100MPH suits?
I find rain gear has a short lifespan. I've tried all kinds, and after 2-3 years, I get wet.
It sucks spending big money on stuff that doesn't last.
I've started buying cheap stuff again. Some of it lasts longer. Same with waders. I've had the top of line waders, and after 2-3 seasons they leak, so now I spend $100 on cheapies, and replace them every couple years.
S.
Jacket and pants cost $150 I believe(I'll look). And I should mention it's spring/fall gear not winter gear
But my dad is a distributor and gets some wicked sales so if anyone is interested let me know. Some stuff I get for 50% off all the way up to free.
But sizing is an issue with stormtech. I'd always go a size up

If this wasn't a family site I would have some great comments to this Manitoubass! I can say that I have saved a number of trees in my life!
This one was mild, look at the last page lol

Bummer
And Matt clinched

If the rabbit thing is true, lol good luck

Be careful on that silly season ice. Many an experienced northerner without the UK accent has been lost. Sometimes experience is a most hazardous asset.
Dood it's plus 14 and still 18" of ice on most backlakes

The last time I had anything to do with a snapper I almost lost a finger !
Hahaha they have one gnarly bite! I had one take a metal stringer off the tinnie.
Lost 4 lil eater walleyes

Oh im positive it's how it was cooked. I love wild game, to me it's easily my favorite food group. I've had beaver that was great, beaver that sucked too, and it's somewhat similar, tough oily meat.
Seems odd they'd ban snappers, there is billions of the things. And it's not like it's anyone's daily meal. Everyone I know that harvests them eats maybe 2 a year.
Anyone caught one fishing? I caught a monster on Mainville years ago, musta been 90lbs, thing was huge. Glad I have long pliers, I was scared crappless to take the hook out lol. It fought good, like hauling up half a tree hahahah(I actually thought I snagged a large branch)

Personally I would rather chew leather than one of those bacteria riddled creatures.
Leather is more tender, that's for sure lol

This season could end today and the Leafs could call it a success. Incredible scoring and points records by the rookies and big improvements by some of the existing players like Kadri and Bozak. I'm happy...everything else is gravy and there is lots to build on. With their position now, I hope they make the playoffs because it'll have little effect of draft picks but the experience of being in the playoffs and probably getting their butts kicked will be valuable. I don't want their first playoff run to be the first year they're actually ready.
This year has been awesome watching these guys enter the league and perform the way they has. I'm so glad I got to see it. Depending what happens in the next 5 years, this will go down as a big year in Maple Leafs history. Go Leafs Go!
Well said!

You lucky devil, only two hours. My closest cabelas is 4 hours+ away in Winnipeg , if I am buying a big ticket cost item I have to put in the leg work, but like to get what I actually want than settle for what's just available.
Yep me too lol. I'd drive 2 hours like f all for proper gear
We really need a good store closer

Hahaha I did it once with the MNR. It's unreal what pops up.I've never tried that Rick, I'll add it to my arsenal!

No doubt!
Boy the pucks aren't going are way thus far. We've had some unreal chances that's for certain.
Anderson out is a huge bummer. So glad we have a solid backup. Hopefully Anderson is fine
Nylander and JVR are on fire tonight
