Wow Irish!
That's crazy! No wonder you hate drones anywhere near you!
-
Irishfield, honest question.
If the drone is relatively small, like most you can buy at Best buy etc, would that actually put you at risk by just hitting it?
Obviously it might ding the plane but is this a serious risk of downing a plane?
Im no pilot so...

Cannabis in the 70's was average less than 1% THC. Now it's greater than 8% average, with many strains going into the 17-22% THC area.
Edibles, hash oil, Rick Simpson oil, shatter, dabs are all way higher
My RSO is 75% THC 10% CBD

I didn't know they made dyneema in lace!!!
Hahahahaha. The ultimate chastity belt
-
Im telling you guys right now, you'll see the demise of leather and dyneema fibre will be added to gloves and possible other equipment in the next year or two.
I have socks made with dyneema and they protect your feet easily as much as shoes.you can step on a nail and it won't penetrate the skin
Sawfiler socks lol

Wow 2000+!
All I ever seen in northern Alberta, which is awesome habitat BTW, was tonnes of caribou, elk and bear.
I've seen 3 cougars in NW Ontario, none in Alberta. Kinda bummed on that
-
What im understanding is if the cost is below $10 the item is then free.
Cliff is in his 70s and in a fixed income if I remember correctly??? I'd count every penny too

Double check. I know we can be "gifted" meat because my wife and kids are FN
Im not 100% sure it can go to no FAN citizens

good point grimsby
of course this is all just talk, i really dont have an opinion except for the fact that I am glad to see them back.
Call me crazy...but the reductions of pesticides, the addition of hunting regulations, the idea of conservation is doing wonders to improve animal numbers and their natural habitat...maybe not so much in the GTA where we are growing at an absurd rate, but being in the bush and on the lake weekly for the past 15 years I have noticed a significant incline in the numbers of wildlife I am witnessing. Specifically in areas where humans had ruined or poisoned the native species habitat.
The first 10 years in PAB i never saw a bald eagle, now they are everywhere. We now have wolves frequenting our area, the fishing volume and size has been on a constant incline and this past winter we even found tracks from a lynx.
That's happening here too akri. There was substantial wildlife already in my area, but it's no doubt been booming about the past couple years.
Of course some say that's because the deer population is nuts, and it is. That predators are following them into urban settings
Which may be true. But I also see way more wildlife in the bush these days too
When moose hunts were sketchy at best for 10 years or so, maybe getting skunked in 10 days, now many are getting their moose the first day.
Trappers are reporting crazy numbers of catches.
Also, how bout them elk??? We never had elk really until 15 years ago.they must breed like rabbits because they are everywhere too
Wolves and coyotes are rediculous
One thing im seeing less of is bears

you ever seen a drunk going through physical withdrawal? Its not pretty.
Theres a big difference between jonesing and being physically ill, breaking out in a sweat and shaking uncontrollably. Thats not habitual.
see a person going through opiate withdrawal...you can literally die. Your statement is kind of messed up.
I worked at the local Suboxone clinic for a year in my spare time.
Part of my job was to watch the opiate withdrawal patient for the first 48 hours before they could take Suboxone.
People will literally try to kill themselves if given the chance
You feel like your in a war zone
-
Yeah but I think I could drive out west, poach a cougar and drive back 5 different times quicker than you'd find one in Ontario.
Yep, I was gonna say the same thing
-
Thanks for the kind words and the Sub I appreciate it,.. you won"t regret learning to can fish it really is a great healthy alternative to grocery store stuff
Your welcome! I already can other goods I've just never done whities.
Aka shag brought me some canned moose meat that was amazing!!!!
Might as well try new foods. Certainly doesn't hurt to have another fish to Target and more food options that's for sure!!!
How's the flavour?
-
Interesting, I didn't know that.
Seems a little silly though. Good luck to the poacher targeting Ontario cougars, probably a better chance for a squatch or a unicorn.
Yep. I'd say that rumour is just that

On my list of things to do this summer.
And so I don't forget, I've conveniently subbed to your channel.
Top notch videos man! Really really enjoy them!

You guys are killing me!
In this house we moved to a little over a year ago I can't grow much, lack of space and a crappy yard.
But we move into the new house in July and I can't wait to start growing again.
Bonus is the new house has wild raspberry and strawberries on the edge of the property!
When they dug the foundation, I asked the operator to pre dig for a garden too lol. Save Abit of work. At our new house, the back yard is gonna be 70% garden. The local park is across the street so I can utilize our yard for growing with worrying about the kids needing space.
So excited to move!!!!! 3800 sq.ft and a heated garage is gonna be so nice!

Yep.
My favourite brunch!
Venison medallions, (but pan fried not deep-fried), with eggs over easy, cooked in the pan juices, and all served on top of hash-brown patties (best) or toast (second best). I have also served medallions and eggs on garlic toast, which is good, but I find that the garlic in the toast over-powers the other flavours. Heck, I just ate supper (Cream of Asparagus soup and an elk burger) and now I am hungry just thinking about this!!!
Of course the BEST medallions are tenderloin slices, but smaller loin slices, and even eye of round slices all work well for medallions. You can also trim bottom round steak, or for that matter top round steak, for medallions, but in both cases I prefer to leave those steaks cut whole-size.
OK where are those packages of frozen venison in my freezer!!!!!
Doug
Oh yeah never deep fried lol.
I just took out a tenderloin because the craving is huge lol
And yes! Awesome served with eggs!!! I try not to make medallions when the kids are around lol, or I have to make like 60 of them and by the time im done cooking I'll get 5, and I want at least 10 hahaha

I disagree on this. If a player gets injured due to a malicious act of another player, you get an NHL appointed doctor to look at him. However long the doctor says the player should take to recover, the attacker is suspended for that many games unless the player is medically cleared to return sooner.
I disagree with both. It's Crosby, suspend him for 10 games just because lol.
Next up, dyneema woven fibres in gloves.
-
Ok now I want medallions.
Doug you ever make em on your hunts?
Sliced lean deer meat, maybe 1/4 or 1/2" thick, dip in flour, add to hot oil in pan(I use butter with about of oil) and season with garlic salt(tad) garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper
Just a quick cook and you have one helluva tasty snack or edition to a meal
-
I cook it almost identical to Doug.
And wen in doubt, make medallions lol
-
Brutal.
Crappy position to be in.
-
Thats just chintzy. Gimme a break
You cannot be serious???
I do not care if you're poor, middle class, wealthy, self made or born into money. If you don't spend wisely you are simply an idiot
