  1. Lol, don't rewatch it then.

30 nhl players couldn't handle the puck, nothing odd there

But yeah, watching the game live is different indeed, both good and bad.

I watched the oilers dynasty smash Winnipeg in the 80s and when I watched it on TV, it was twit for tat. I seen things live I didn't see televised and vise versa

Also, mark messier could be heard cutting ice 6 rows up, no matter where he was on the ice

  2. From my view point, it wasn't the ice. They were out of sink. Passes just out of reach that last game were tape to tape. They got out worked and out skated for most of the night. They didn't look like a team that wanted to win, they looked like a team that thought they would use their talent to win vs their proven winning method, out skate and out work.

Bill, normally I would agree about not sitting a defenceman, but Zietsev was a liability all night. I don't know what his +/- is, but he looked soft, scaredand unwilling to get dirty. Playoffs are dirty.

    HH

Rewatch the game. Barely anyone on either team could handle a pass. The puck was all over the place even on tape to tape passes it was bouncing, on edge etc

  3. You can't sit any D man, you forget Polak is out for basically ever? lol

The loss sucked, but it was nice to seem them battle back and try to make a game out of it. If it wasn't for that stupid play inside our own blue line where they fumbled the puck and gave up the Oshie goal, it would have been a tie game. I'm glad they just didn't roll over and die, that shows a lot of character for such a young squad.

Yep, but they better come out strong for game 5, and play 60

HH, it almost looked like bad ice or warm pucks. I called it out to my wife last night. Puck was bouncing everywhere, nobody could handle a pass, weird bounces in the corner

  4. Dogs are alot more insulated than us.

My Huskies stay outside in -40 winter's, this water wouldn't bother them at all.

I've got the cops called on me for leaving them outside too. It's not neglect, it's what they want. I'll bring them in and they beg to go back out.

Dogs aren't stupid(for the most part), if his dog wasn't having fun, it wouldn't go in the water

  5. I'm with the panel on the one goal against us... Should've been challenged

Not me. These goaltender interference challenges are rediculous.

    Yeah, even against our team.

It needs to stop. Unless it's unreal blatant running the goalie or something, leave it be.

The rest of the players battle, the goaltenders don't need to be cottled like babies IMO

  6. He has severe PTSD and panic disorder. Sometimes when he gets a fish on he gets so worked up he has a panic attack. If he loses the fish oh my. He has to pop a pill under his tongue. His hands shake so much fishing he can't put a lure on a line. Sad to see as 10 years ago he was fine. A very bad childhood and things just came to a boil when he hit 40. You could write a book about this kid and not believe it, like a little brother to all my Family. We've known him since he was 15 and he was living on the streets when my brother found him and brought him home for dinner one night and he stayed for 6 months. He loves fishing.

    Wow, my sympathies.

You kinda know my story OI, but I too have PTSD so I know first hand how it can be.

But, fishing is what calms me. I will have the odd panic attack in the boat and it's such an overwhelming feeling of impending death, it will make you do some crazy stuff.

I could tell you you're never get me out on the big lakes without being medicated half to death.

One thing you learn is your triggers. And you have to face them, that when you make improvements, but it's incredibly hard.

Best wishes to your friend OI, I know how hard the struggle is

  7. Heats always been my go to for muscle aches/pains/sprains and worse. Never realized I could've been doing myself more harm than good. Huh. Well, hope you feel better.rest is good for sure if you can get it.

RICE. Heat is very bad on a new injury.

  8. This is about 5 years ago before opener.

It's two of about 20 tackle boxes just for shore fishing...
