Is it cramping? Normally a torn muscle will "knot up" and cramp very badly, it will also normally be visible, bruise very badly and greatly hamper your ability to use said muscle. A week isn't too long. Often even a pulled or strained muscle will last that long or longer. Best of luck. I hope it's pulled and not torn.

5'6" is for pannies but I did land a 42" pike on rainy lake on it about 5 years ago. 6lb mono. Super crappy rod too, one of my kids Walmart specials. I forget the brand??? KISS I carry 3 sizes of rods, 5'6", 6'2", 6"7. Pannies, walleye, pike, musky, bass, suckers, etc all covered. I prefer MH. Hate all you want but I've hauled in great size fish without having to use 30 rods. I've once went 7' and hated everything about it. 3 rods donated to kids. I hate longer rods. Proper reels/line take casting distance out of the equation. Im not cut from the same cloth. I believe in the 6'7" for any bigger species. Doesn't matter the technique. Long rods lose more fish, short rods lose more fish when it's not the target species. 6'7" MH will land any freshwater fish in ontario But don't listen to me. Im the tinfoil hat of OFC lol

He filmed a show illegally catching sturgeon. I know, I have the show on DVD. It's 1000 yards from my house, the guide is a person I used to call a friend... I have zero issue calling out Aaron. That being said, it's more on the guide IMO, and that's Harvey Cochrane. A great guy turned addict. He was my neighbor. He went full scam artist so it's plausible Aaron had no idea (but he should have known). I'll call out any poacher. Friend foe brother whatever. It is what it is. Nobody should do this. But, I'll give Aaron the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes you don't do your homework when a guide is involved. But it was still illegal. In the episode they clearly target sturgeon

That's one infraction I don't take much stock in. But yeah it may look bad to others fishing the area. I myself have posted pics of sturgeon where it's immediate release, although I've had the go ahead from local CO's In fact, a local here, Aaron Shirley has filmed a show at that one spot, clearly targeting sturgeon (which is a no no), sorry Aaron. That was a gnarly game start to finish We need to step up on goal scoring and support the defense better, Anderson is being tested too much. Boy is he playing great though The pass out in front for the game winner was rediculous, these guys are good! Wicked bummer about polak. The way he sat on his leg while his edge dug in it's looks like he blew out MCL and ACL badly.
