Gorilla glue

That trick, or some variation on it, is quite common in barbless provinces like Manitoba, works well!
Sure does!!!
-
Sweet!I love the big ones too, its just when I got that one was 2 weeks prior when I needed smaller minnows, my tank works pretty good, kept that sucker for 2 weeks!
Honestly, for years I have sworn off live bait. But I went back and tried again. I was very surprised.
Glad to see you using bloodsuckers too. I know they cost a small fortune, but obviously it pays off
For walleye in summer I'd say hands down the best bait
Oh, lil tip so you don't lose as many. Take some gummy worms from Walmart, rip off a piece maybe 1/4" long. Rig the leech then slide that gummy worms on the hook?
-
Pure luck?? Not likely. There is a ton of skill there you haven't even heard of my friend. Sure, there is luck involved, but to call that a lucky shot?? Not a chance!!
s.
No doubt!!!!
That's alot of training and SKILL!

Some nice fish. We always get our biggest pics on the giant minnows in the bait dealers tank that no-one wants!
Kinda funny you mentioned that. My buddy fishes alot of local tourneys including the walleye masters in wabigoon. He's the one that put me on 6"-8" livebait and I was honestly shocked how awesome it works
-
My friend just had one built (same dimensions) 2 years back and it was $18,000 all together.
She was able to save by hiring a friend that was a carpenter though
I think g mechs #s are pretty spot on

Lol, this was the first vid I watched this am
Amazing! Not often will you land back to back 28"ers!!!!
The border talk was funny too ???
-
no disrespect, but shouldn't a dump on or around the reserve try to divert as much as humanly possible??. They should be the leaders in waste diversion...
No worries, but I don't understand what your point is? Sorry.
Shouldn't that be the goal of every landfill?

Im not on the Rez currently, im in emo.

we're trying to find a 3 bedroom apartment or house, and its insane, apartments are $1500 a month plus parking for 2 vehicles a whole house rents out for $1800-2200 plus utilities.
im almost tempted to move our bedroom downstairs and turn the master into another kids room
Should have seen when I was in grande prairie (during stable oil production)
I had a 3 bedroom appartment for $2200, childcare for 2 boys cost me $1700/month lol
Unreal. But it is what it is
-
I pay $550 for a 4 bedroom lol
I feel for y'all in that area
But it's changing quick with the gold mine 30km away, prices to buy jumped alot.
Im Having a house built now, be ready in July. A 6 bedroom is only costing us $170,000. But it's on Rez land so that's the downside, we'll never actually own the land.
Prices here almost tripled as soon as the mine came in

you haven't eaten the right ones then
the smallies we catch in lake huron are sweet like perch
but, zone 16 covers a LARGE area, more than can be covered in a day or two, windsor to scarborough,up to penatang, over to tobermory, which part are you interested in?, and bass season opens 4th saturday of june
theres lots of places in the bruce peninsula where you can catch bass from shore, and boat rentals are pretty cheap for tinner with a 9.9 on it
Yeah, I know alot of people that will keep them on the deep, colder lakes
-
she may have more fun perch or crappie fishing and those are much better eat's than bass in my eye's (and taste buds)
Bass is way better than crappie lol (joking)
Very hard to find crappie from shore though
I've eaten 2 bass in my life, no thanks ill pass

If ya pass through kenora let me know if ya wanna do lunch or a quick fish!tor-edm. but I see fort france is too far south. May have to buy them online. I like the fact that they float. Thanks though
I can meet ya there, only a 2 hour drive for me

He's talking about Art????

Man, and here I thought it was a nuisance I can only put out 4 bags of garbage per week, and the landfill is only open 3 days per week.
Guess I got it pretty good
Oh, our landfill is free
When I was in grande prairie, recycling was big business. You got paid to recycle. Anything recyclable was worth money, you just had to bring it in.

We have a little booth set up on the US side you have to go in and call customs and pass along all your info
If you set foot on US land, at least here, prepare to have guns drawn on you very quickly
Our river is so narrow though, it's a big immigration area and lotsa drug smuggling so it's def a good thing they have strong border presence

Can you inbox me please

We just spoke. Please...I read the sad news that Brian has passed on LSMB and thought it appropriate to share with our fishing brotherhood.
I pray that I may live to fish
Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep.
Without knowing Brian other than his contributions here, they were reflective of a great soul.
RIP Wormdunker.
Oh man
Honestly one of the best guys I've met
RIP

Because it fails? Lol

A friends son is in our military stationed in Pettawawa, he gets us 100% Deet. To be used with caution.
We get 31+ a day Rick! Beat ya, again. If you say 32 I will say 33 then you say 44, you know how we play it M2. Turkey Point ON was the first place that anyone ever heard of these things down south 20 or more years ago. It started when the Ministry stopped cottagers from cutting beach grass along the shoreline. Good for sand erosion bad for humans hosting a family of Deer Tics.
You'll see when ya visit. Im Not playing the numbers game. It's just a fact of life here in the bush
-
In NW Ontario it's perfectly normal to have 30+ per day.
Again, wash your our clothes and shower. Do a check
Must haves in your boat

On our backlake trips, I always take some tylenol#3's just in case a kid breaks an ankle or something
Also benedryl in case we encountered something unknown someone allergic too.
Keep in mind, we almost always have shore lunch on backlake trips so the possibility of injury is higher
Also cotton balls dipped in Vaseline.
