  1. You have a knack for putting words in peoples mouths. I never once said I wouldn't stop. In fact, every post I've made in this thread I said I didn't have an issue with getting stopped. I have nothing to hide, and no reason not to stop.

I get antsy when they stop me, ask for my paperwork which I provide, ask me any questions they want, which I answer honestly, and THEN they ask if they can look in my boat or vehicle. That is when I say NO. Sorry....and thier attitude starts. I dont like that situation. Its against my rights, and I won't let anyone get away with it. Not because I have something to hide, but because it is AGAINST MY RIGHTS! Period.

I bust my ass 40 hours a week to pay for my fun. I have all my paperwork in order, and I have nothing to hide. I am an honest, law abiding citizen. Why should I let anyone search my stuff?

    S.

    /End thread ???

  2. If you say go ahead search, they probable won't ,say no and they will for sure. Something must be up requiring immediate action.

Yes, excercising your freedoms lol (or lack thereof)

But.... Like I said, it's a minor inconvenience, no worries for me.

....still haven't found my modified .50 cal so that's cool

  3. Yup, it could just be to the CO, that something smelled fishy.

It very well could be.and by fishy, maybe you beat his high school baseball team 20 years ago?

His probable cause is you are towing a boat.

    That's rediculous

  4. I hate the idea of a "police state", much like Terry

But I will pull over, it's a minor inconvenience.

The term "probable cause" is the real problem

That basically means anything goes. Legally it's the most idiotic term IMO

  5. I prefer video. But pics are great and even is a well told report with neither

With video, just feels abit more personal and like your right there, can't beat that IMO

Now if someone could splice bunks storytelling and photos with Limeyangler vids.....

P.s. enjoying your vids too Brian!!!

  6. It's funny, come fall it clears out. Fish head out into the 'deeper water (15 ft max) I've figured out the lake but I've never figured out why. It bucks a lot of logic.

I'm also told I missed out. This spring with the water high I was told it was holding some monster walleye and muskie before the water temps warmed up.

    Ughhh bummer

My spot gets wicked end of summer for pike too, then walleye in the fall. No wallies in summer though, just sauger

  7. Wish my grandpa had collected tackle lol

After he passed, my dad gave me his tackle box. I was all hyped to see what was in it.

A bunch of splitshots, couple hundred bare hooks and some bug dope that looked like a chemical used in warfare lol

  8. My honey hole is fricken sweet!

25 bass is a bad day

But, it changes with water Conditions/flow etc. It's best in summer and fall

Summer is wicked for numbers, but fall is for the fatties.

Keep in mind when I say 25 is a bad day, that's on a 6-7 hour day. I've caught over 100 lotsa times but im down there with food, drinks, fire etc. I might fish 15 hours to get a 100 fish. Lotsa people shore fishing might only fish a few hours

Ask GBW, one day I was fishing tubes for the first time. We were chatting on the phone and im not sure on the number??? But I think I caught like 13 bass in maybe 15 casts lol

Damn I love that spot though!

  9. I think scavenging is very good too. Reuse, re purpose, keep it out of the landfill. Why not.

It was ok to scavenge at the Minden dump until someone grabbed a toaster, took it home and it set their house on fire. Then they had the audacity to sue the county. Now there's no scavenging allowed.

Dump related but not relevant, has anyone been to the dump south of Chapleau back in the day? I've never seen so many bears. You basically hand your garbage bag to a bear.

Yep it's very good imo. If someone else can use it, why not?

My uncle's friend in fort Frances used to do it there(it's illegal) and did 6 months in jail for it lol.

This guy that lives at the corner goes everyday it's open. I wish he didn't know I love golf because he feels the need to bring me everydamn golf club at the dump

You should see some of the sweet old-school fishing reels he's found and cleaned up though!!! Unreal!

  10. yes it should be the goal of every landfill and when you move onto the reservation hopefully they will be far ahead of what happens off reserve... When you bury crap you no longer see it but it will come back to haunt you eventually.. As outdoors people we should all be concerned about preserving mother Earth...

Our dump looks as good as a dump can lol.

Also, it's not illegal to scavenge from our dump on the Rez with in some ways I think is very good.

When I worked for rrfn, we did have a disaster though maybe 6 years ago and have a forest fire go through. That was me first day as a volunteer firefighter

Next time I'll up there I'll take a pic
