  1. You won't find me in sanctuaries to start with. However a dude with no rod or net, picking up a carcass in a sanctuary, or anywhere else for that matter, is a non issue for me. North shore lake O rivers receive an abundance of nutrients from carcasses, and the fish won't spawn anyway..... So who cares! However, I rob carcasses whenever practical on open waters. As long as the eggs are decent, it's a free source of decent chum that doesn't affect fisheries. If a guy wants to wander around and pick up dead fish with no means to snag or net them on his person, I'm okay with that, even if it's in a sanctuary!

sure! I kept a porcupine a few years back for regalia. Was hit by a truck. Kinda similar lol. I had no issues with it nor did mnr
  2. I work at one of the designated Hospitals where positive patients will be transfered too. As of last week we had no equipment to handle any of the specimans we get. Now that people are speaking out the supplies are pouring in. When flu season hits I figure Health Care will be bankrupt in North America. They are making the same mistake they did with Sars. Anyone coming into Emerg with symptoms isn't sequestered right away. They need to put a second entrance into the Hospitals and have a screener at the doors to point you in the right direction but all this costs money so it isn't going to happen. Double gloves and gowns for me now at work.

i wish you the best. Your a brave brave person doing work for all. Very admirable service!
  3. To those that are joking about this, its not funny.

The Earth is overpopulated with Humans, if you look at population growth projections, its frightening.

Nature has a way of dealing with overpopulations...

.much like nature, so does government. And yes, its not funny in any regard
  4. Im currently going mental, sitting at home after my last project with an engineering co. Only been off 2 weeks and it sucks. Well I shouldnt say it sucks. I enjoy the time with my kids, watching them play hockey, fishing etc. But there is just something in me where i feel best working hard and pushing through alot of sleepless nights, crap like that. I guess i just appreciate things more when im super busy. Ive mined, worked world class sawmills, welded in pipeline, earned my stripes in the oilfield, and most of it was great. Actually i hated welding where 80" was a great day lol. Worked for awesome companies and some horrid. Currently im waiting to be called back to work with and im having fun with this company. Great crew, awesome supervisors, learning new skills with new equipment. Im only 35 so i got alot to learn. Ups and downs i spose. I hope one day ill find the perfect career. And where ive worked, that job is called "hotshotting" and its big money in alberta

  5. Another thing that grinds my gears is even having to bring xl garbage bags with me when I venture the shores fishing with my kids. Should not be needed at all. Our snack bags and empty water bottles go back in our tackle bags. Funny thing. Here, there are little to none out on the shorelines fishing. Its all from boats throwing their garbage in the river. Then the water drops and current focus it up on shore in certain points/shallows etc. Almost everytime we go out we leave with tackle bags, sometimes fish if we plan a meal, and at least one xl garbage bag. Sad really. And probably 80% of that garbage is beer bottles, whisky bottles and beer cans. Nice and classy
