my youngest caught some fish this year which was awesome!!!
occasionally the fish need viagara
the scenery here is always gorgeous
a boy and his grandpa. always awesome to get out with the young man
time to retire the boat. beauty last shot
someday my kids will look back on my photos like i do on this one

so many of these were caught throughout the years it became normal
highwater brought crappies and much excitement
a few years later, handling fish was no problem!
the kids had grown. now catching fish on their own. choosing their own baits, tying on and getting out snags
the crappies grew and increased our excitement
the kids helped local tourneys. they were now experts at handling fish
big bass just became so normal we could joke about it
in the past two years flood waters became the norm. changing patterns and fishability
aside from fishing we all enjoy golf. my drive landed next to this momma bear

They just get thick! The average size in fall is probably 25"!
ice fishing started out very basic. the river can be a killer come ice
the kiddos would fish, go sliding when bored!why not catch some air?
come spring id take full advantage... we now had patterns!
snagged my first ever lamprey, ewww lol. i actually called the MNR over this haha
the fish that landed my first derby win...
not too bad for a 4 year old lol
with good times also comes bad. sturgeons netted and left to rot. we successfully realeased a few. sad day
hooled dèep and had to keep. hows that for a 6 year olds smallie?
the view of many summertime evenings!

Well, today is a bittersweet day. Because of new to me work, today was the last few casts I took here as a resident. I layed down tobacco, said a prayer and thanked the creator for many things. Our protection, our beautiful land and water, our experiences, alone and as a family. 5 years I took notes, developed patterns, won derbies, had campfires at camp etc. We havent left yet. But RRFN we will miss you...
First smallie at what became my favorite bass spot. Right in the rapids. I caught thousands of fish in there
Big walleye pull hard here. No wet socks. Many friendships were made over fishing here
Campfires by the hundreds! Unreal times with friends and our children.
Always nature all over. The kids found everything and anything. Baby snapper
My daughter caught this during a derby. Almost lost it at the hole but managed to save the catch. The derby was cancelled due to freezing rain
They just learned to hold bass lol. Didnt take long to master it, as they all have pb's over 4lbs on the first year
Big walleyes around in the fall and spring

that was a great game! Pure action everywhereWOOHOO!!!!
Great game boys!!!!!

Uh oh!!!!

baby in a car seat??? People actually bring babies out on the ice and place them in a car seat? Wow. Or am i reading that out of context?Simply if the child is actually fishing no problem with the extra lines.
If the child has wondered off to play or asleep than pull the extra lines.
I've seen a few claim their baby asleep in a car seat justifies an extra line.

This new kid on the leafs has a great game. Puck to the face OUCH!!!!

Great hockey game tonight!

yep, thats been me on more than one occasion. Now i find it funner to diy anyhowI think most people are intimidated by the job.. But once you do it the first time, you laugh at yourself for thinking you needed a pro to do it.

yep. SPRINGMOUNT AUTOMARINE over charges and has poor customer service. So springmount automarine will not get my business and when they are googled this thread will pop up for the world to see
-
Okay so which business is this? (SPRINGMOUNT AUTOMARINE)If they wouldn't budge, which is in itself rediculous cause they just lost at least one customer,Id show this around to other local business as well. Get their thoughts on it. I have a funny feeling this business is about to get a boatload of complaints from OFC members. I feel bad for ya dood

probably hit by a Phanuef shot in practise...ouch lupul out with a broken hand... wonder what happened
-
bang on great postVery true. I made this the comment for the ones who think that people that take kids fishing are trying to increase their catch. Those who think that, have never fished with a kid.
-
true. But how else are you gonna teach you kids to fish? Small price IMHOIMHO and from my experience, taking a 3, 4 , 5 or even 6 year old fishing usually decreases your chance of catching. You spend more time helping and catering to the needs of the child. This results in you (the experienced angler) concentrating considerably less on your own fishing.

Sorry about the second photo. I tried to quote a previous post and boom! Haha. Perhaps my kids need to teach me technology hahahaha
I think an apology is in order!
