  5. Well, today is a bittersweet day. Because of new to me work, today was the last few casts I took here as a resident. I layed down tobacco, said a prayer and thanked the creator for many things. Our protection, our beautiful land and water, our experiences, alone and as a family. 5 years I took notes, developed patterns, won derbies, had campfires at camp etc. We havent left yet. But RRFN we will miss you...

  6. Simply if the child is actually fishing no problem with the extra lines.

If the child has wondered off to play or asleep than pull the extra lines.

I've seen a few claim their baby asleep in a car seat justifies an extra line.

baby in a car seat??? People actually bring babies out on the ice and place them in a car seat? Wow. Or am i reading that out of context?
  7. Okay so which business is this? (SPRINGMOUNT AUTOMARINE)If they wouldn't budge, which is in itself rediculous cause they just lost at least one customer,Id show this around to other local business as well. Get their thoughts on it. I have a funny feeling this business is about to get a boatload of complaints from OFC members. I feel bad for ya dood

  8. IMHO and from my experience, taking a 3, 4 , 5 or even 6 year old fishing usually decreases your chance of catching. You spend more time helping and catering to the needs of the child. This results in you (the experienced angler) concentrating considerably less on your own fishing.

true. But how else are you gonna teach you kids to fish? Small price IMHO
