Given what the rain could do out there today, good call. Thanks for sharing.

No, they are saying if you unecessarily put the lives of others on the line, then you should have to pay for it. I agree 100% How many deaths have there been this year alone because guys are being irresponsible?
Totally agree. Case by case basis as accidents do happen.

My unit actually showed a Laker flipping me the bird on Lake Bernard 2 weeks ago. Needless to say we packed up right after that and I even made it home in time for dinner.

Time to break down and buy a real camera I guess. Nice pics!!

Or you could just throw it on the ice and let it suffocate?
Good for you for letting it go. Although, my guess is that if it is ever caught again it will not swim away.
Please don't tell us you inserted a digit into its' anus a la HeadHunter either.

WoW!!! Whities off a float. Thanks for sharing.

Great report.

Scale or no scale that thing is an absolute monster. You should really consider applying for the IGFA world record for catch and release.

Yeah definitely, more expensive gear always brings success
hehehe. No but it often amazes me how a little patience can often provide other opportunities and better options.

Lakers are on. Way to go.

Save your money and buy a better unit.
x2... or quit smokin

Eastern lands unknown, Time and man alone, Searching!!!!!............ and Xanadu(aKa-LT) found. Awesome report!! The lyrical mastery of that track is the cherry on top!! Thanks for sharing.

This is where things usually go south but here it is. No the scale is not certified, but it is accurate, and yes it is photoshopped...to hide the shoreline
All i could find as far as a "Lake Whitefish " World Record was a weight of 14.6 lbs back in 1984. If that's correct the weight of your fish would be a clear winner even if you took away almost 2 lbs. Witnesses+sworn affidavits+ Style points(Catch & Release) could= IGFA World Record? Am I way off base here?

Champix had me off the sticks for 5 months years back but the random piercing temple pains and the fact that I wasn't ready to quit ended that streak . Most use different coping mechanisms and/or combinations thereof . Then there are those that can drop the habit like trash. I dislike those people.....hehehe. Imo, Deciding you were "ready" to quit was the single most defining factor in the process and should be what you commit to in times of weakness. It can be a helluva nut to crack. A cousin of mine has been clean for 5 years and still has cravings at times. Keep at it and Best of luck.
Question. Have anglers ever really need an excuse to buy equipment?

hehehehe. Twocoda....... Toooo Funny.

Good to hear you got out. The Crappie will bite long after the sun has gone down as long as you move around and work them a little more than usual.

Really solidifies the experience when a plan of attack is successful. Awesome report and congrats on the Herring!!

Whats interesting is the police officers who are members of this board are staying mum on the subject!
That goes on a lot these days. People belonging to groups and associations, whether they be religious, cultural or otherwise, more increasingly seem afraid to speak out against one of their own. This is what leads to biases from the public. It's a shame.

Felt good to get out just the same huh? Get'm next time.
Anyone wanna hit simcoe in morn??
