  2. any out there? they're going on the feedbag soon and i cant wait
  3. I see that there are almost a dozen species to fish in the NSR. I wouldn't target the elusive sturgeon while I am there, but some walleye, pike, or anything interesting might take a jig, spinner or husky jerkbait if I'm in the right area of it, I guess. I'm reading to look for parts where the current meets no current with shelter for a hole. What really concerns me are the inidications of remains of living beings in the river and a hangout for homeless is my guess.
  4. I will be in Edmonton with a Christian university campus ministry for three months spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was wondering if there are any shore spots with perch/crappie/bluegill/trout/bass/walleye and what tactics are common to the area if you were choosing from minnow on a float to floating raps, huskyjerk, 1/8th oz jig or dropshotting? Any known spots? -Pat

  8. I've been out night fishing at the Bewdley docks twice, and crappie at 8-10 inches come in once every hour and a half or so. There are some serious imbecils out on the dock that claim the dock to be theirs as locals, and scream at me for not following the regs while they are drinking in public and doing drugs. I didn't know it was 1 line per person, thought it was two and won't do it again. i said i wont do it again sorry for the rant
  9. thanks!

  11. I've been thinking of planning a week or so in the Kawarthas this summer to just pitch a tent on an island or somewhere on the lakes. Which places are possible to do so?

  14. Perch- fried, steamed, whole, filleted, in parts, with bones, no bones, doesn't matter, as long as they're biting, and if they're not, well, God made a wonderful day in the morning =)

  19. someone help me I can't stop scratching my head lol
  20. and they sure are biting. I'll be going for one very last kick in the can in about 30 minutes, but I figured I'd post some pics from two nights ago. The guys were successful last night as well, beautiful fat 17-19 inchers to boot, and I scored my season high 4 lb to live to see another day apparently i know where the 10-12 pound monstrosities can be had (Where it stays open 'till Dec 31), but its a farish drive and its really really cold out
  21. I've been seeing a whole lot of bullhead over at the bewdley dock. its going to be packed for walleye closer I'm guessing. I went for possibly the last kick at the can at the scugog causeway for walleye, and they were everywhere when we left. we could see their eyes swimming around when we shone the light into the water. the bullheads get to just under 2 lbs at bewdley and thats about as big as they get, though i think. we did see a massssssive carp snap a line next to the dock two weekends ago i think it was, on a crappie jig, haha. I hear big perch are out to play during the day at the shore accessible rice lake spots as well on the south end... crappies ... scarce but huge
  22. not to hijack, but, from experience, what size rapala minnow is best for what species of fish? in what circumstances does it really shine?
  23. these are the best reports ever lol so dialed in
