Van Staal are really expensive Salt water reels and are considered the Rolls Royce of fishing reels and alls gotta say is if i ever owned one i would be to scared to take it out fishing.

I know how you feel Lew, I myself gave up a lifestyle for my family and lost a lot of friends in the process and as of today my family is all i have.

I gathered up a couple of reels that needed warranty issues to be fixed so off i went to Aikmans and i was so in the itch for some Steelheading and if the weather keeps up i can see it happening sooner than i thought but anyways i got to my location and dropped off my reels and did a little browsing and stumbled upon and purchased the item posted below, i never seen a rod break down into 4 peices and packed in a carry case like so, i figured my oldest daughter will get most of the use out of it this summer check it out.

That is one nice wrap but i gotta tell you guys i got freaked out when i looked at the top left center looks like the reaper appeared in the picture.

Hey Dave you did a great seminar on Sunday all the info you talked about was very informative and as usual it wasn't long enough, as you got closer to the end "5 more minutes" is all i heard but i gotta tell you i think everyone had a great time watching and learning as you spoke.

Heres my pickings from the show this weekend.

Lets see the items you bought this year at the show, my brother borrowed my camera like last month i should be getting it tomorrow so i will post pics sometime tomorrow.

I gotta agree with Lew "It ain't what it used to be" Every year i see it getting more and more commercialized kinda like the sportsman show, but overall i spent almost undisclosed bucks well spent i picked up a Shimano Clarus 6"6" Medium fast action rod and a shimano Curado 101d, 50 Pound Power pro line and a whole variety of rubber worms and jigs and some lures and strike king spinner baits to get me threw this year comfortably, I am happy with all the things i got, i wait every year for the show to splurge on fishing gear for the year but i think it will be my last year buying as much as i did, as for next year i will stick to buying the 5 for ten dollar table items and spinner baits. P.S Man i don't know what the hell they put in the smokies this year but i had blurry vision after eating the third one .

Casting hand "Right hand", I had this problem for almost 5 years and it never got better but only worse i just hope the surgery works even if it reduces the symptoms to half i would be happy.

OMG! I finally got the surgery done now i am looking forward to the healing process, as of right now the base of my palm feels like a concrete block was dropped on it but the T3's are helping me cope with the pain, the outcome was 5 minutes in surgery "awake" a 1 and a half inch gash with 3 stitches on the lower palm 2 nights of sleep down the drain and overall i cant wait till spring comes .

Halo 3 looks like a kick butt addition to halo 1 and 2, if you got a chance Google the trailer and check it out, CS:Source if any of you play drop me a p.m of some of the i.p's you play at maybe we can game online, BF2142 is also one of my new favs, I've been playin it alot lately if you get the chance pick it up or download the demo at the EA website and give it a try i guarantee it you will get hooked.

Whats up everybody? I kinda got curious on knowing if anyone here does any online gaming and when i mean online gaming i mean FPS an RPG I play lots of online games like Battlefield 2, battlefield 2142, Counterstrike Source,and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter all on my P.C especially around this time of the year since most of my fishing is done in the summer, anyone here do any gaming?

I came to the board and was surprised to see the nice facelift , but when i logged in my account doesn't exsist , I E-Mailed the board "admin" and got no response , I was so close to hitting my 500 post and i am kinda feel down and worried if its gone the same thing happened to me the last time the board got a face lift, any admin here can help me out????..
