  1. If all else fails theres a few different repair centers you can call. Rockeys tackle repair in Orillia 705-325-3526, or Bay Distributors in North Bay 1-800-461-9500

  3. thanks guys, and davey buoy yes its a white crappie, usually i find the blacks more predominate at binbrook but it was the complete opposite on saturday which was a good thing because the blacks generally don't get as big in there.
  4. fished the spring crappie derby on saturday at binbook, weather was great and fishing was even better. i've never seen so many slabs pulled out of there. i believe they had over 15 crappie weighed in over a pound and i was lucky enough to land this slab at 1.82lbs to win it.
  5. easiest way to post multiple photos is uploading them to a photo hosting site like photobucket.com and using the code they give you
  6. the 19lber i caught in january was actually a hen, i made damn sure she got back to drop those eggs though

  8. usually just 2/5oz cleos do the job
  9. quite often i go down and get skunked. definatly hit or miss but when they are in it sure can be great
  10. made it out friday before work for a half hour and luckily managed two browns. had the day off today and made the best of it. went chucking spoons into the wind. at the end of a cast i reeled my spoon in and let it drop a bit as i was talking to a buddy when a monster brown smashed it. ended up beating my old pb of 19lbs 1oz with this beast at 22lbs even. afternoon went float fishing on a river i havn't tried before and managed to hook into a couple fish, got one shaker, one nice bow, lost another, and landed a sucker too. the bow i landed had some deep cuts on one side and scratch marks on the opposing side so it looks as if a eagle or something tried to grab it.
  11. hahah never even thought about that, sad thing is i've been using it since september too
  12. my kayak is actually probably one of the cheapest you can get lol, its the pelican pursuit angler 100 or something like that from canadian tire. i got it on sale for 349.99 down from 499.99 last spring. i wasn't going to spend big bucks on a kayak when if i had that kind of money i could buy a boat. the yak came with two flushmount rod holders behind the seat and one swivel mount in the front. the new toy i added on is just a triple rod holder from scotty and i grabbed a fish finder mount and swapped out the middle rod holder to use my lowrance. i run the powercord through the old rod holder mount to a battery in a ziploc tub and right now i'm just using a suction cup transducer but i might see about a thru hull. and i was using small planerboards that are maybe 6"s long and they worked great. this was my yak before. now it just has an extra scotty mount on it with the toys haha
  13. i was actually trolling bodybaits with planerboards hahah, however i did hook into a chinook while jigging a spoon this fall when the bait were in thick
  14. thanks guys, joey this was my first outing with it but so far so good haha. the only change im considering is just getting a thru-hull transducer set up.
  15. lake was calm, water was green and i wanted to head out for a paddle. recently i added a few things to my kayak so i wanted to give it a test out on the water(rod holders, fishfinder, and little planerboards). i was hoping i'd hook into something and within my first 15 minutes i managed to get my first spring king out of the yak and man was that fun. paddled around for about 2 hours marked lots of bait schools but only got the one hit, i can't wait for more. chrome! new rig
  16. sure is! to see you're rod buckle over and look over your shoulder and see a fish flying through the air is definatly an awesome feeling. so far i've just got one but i hope theres many more to come
  17. ifish365.com would be what you're looking for, it caught me off guard too haha

  21. cmc is the supplier we go through them and deal with dino whenever we need units ordered or accessories basically anything lowrance. as far as i know they are they only navico dealers we can get products from up here. and superdad yeah that seems to be a common issue. they tend to burn out ever 3-4 years or so and thats one of the most frequent issues i've heard of.
  22. thanks guys, i think it'll be a while before i can top that one haha
