tons of crappie in there, there some big bass in there as well. i've only landed one hammerhandle pike in there so far and have yet to catch a walleye but i just started fishing there this year. there are some real nice slabs in there though
i was wondering myself what was going on, thanks for clearing that up. and as for the shaker brown thats better than i've managed off that pier this fall lol so good job
just thought i'd toss together a slideshow of some of the fish i've landed so far this season, i havn't got out quite as much as i'd like to and most is local but i still have had a great time, and we all know everyone loves a few pictures.
shore fishing springtime seems to be you're best bet for crappie. minnow under a slipfloat will keep you entertained for quite some time. if you manage to get out in a boat or canoe jigging minnows or trolling soft plastics and spinners works great as well. i just started fishing there this year but its one of my favourite local spots to go to.
tons of these tasty critters around
and some beauty bigger slabs as well
there were plenty of nice bows in there this spring, i did pretty well for myself. personally havnt fished it in the fall so i'll have to see if i can manage any.
plenty of people fish the marina in the fall and do well for browns and i've heard of people doing well straight out from the gun range as well. soon enough alot of nice fish will be coming in close so you should be able to manage a few.
