I was fishing Picton Bay last weekend.
Didn't get any walleye, perch bite was on all day.
Saw one boat who hooked a walleye, talked to the guy - it was around 3 lbs, no more fish for him.
He said it's too warm, need to wait couple weeks at least.

What size is the free tackle bag?
It's big, i can't tell you exactly because it's still in original package - this is from cabelas web site:
The Super Magnum Bag holds twelve 3700-series adjustable utility boxes. It holds one Cabela’s 3600 box in the front pocket and one 3600 box in each of the two side pockets. Two specially designed Storm-Proof external pockets for your camera, cell phone, GPS or VHF radio. Four external pockets, including three large mesh pockets.
Dimensions: 27"L x 14"H x 12"D.

Can you get a camo ARCTIC Armour suit up here for me to try on? I'm thinking that's my next purchase.
S.
I checked that one on the ice fishing seminar last year, looks like really good suit to me, but i would say i doesn't look so warm.
On the seminar people were saying that those suits are on sale in JB Depot.

I was told our basspro has them but I don't see them on their website
There is none of them in the store. i saw them once where and they were too overprised - $630,
I got mine from Gagnon for $400 tax in.

Thanks Cosmos...I posted that one a few days ago, but, there are some additions to the sale. Good thing it's a bit of a drive for me...although I'm sure a certain local
(to me) tackle shop would try to match some of those prices.
Sorry, I didn't see your post.
Actually i was able to place an order on the phone. Delivery is $10.

I was in basspro yesterday, they are selling blue(marine) stabil, it was I think $11

I would like to thank everybody - you guys really helped. Today I finally solved the issue. Got the same set of light and put them on the trailer, they started working right away. I guess one of the lights had bad wiring.
Thanks again

I have a question - If i am constantly using SeaFoam, do i need to add a StaBil as well?
On SeaFoam can notice says that it's good as fuel stabilizer.
On, yeah, Stabil is in my Canadian Tire as well.

Guys, don't forget that is a brand new set of lights, this is the reason I didn't check them yet. I hope tomorrow I will finish with trailer, because today I have to stay late at work.
-
Have you tried new bulbs? Sometimes even new bulbs don't work for me.
Just sayin....
S.
This will be my next step - replace all bulbs, after i will finish with ground issue.
I checked the bulb already an it's look good to me, i didn't switch it with working one yet. Don't forget that turn signal was flashing.

I got mine from Walmart, it's Energizer 27 series deep cycle battery. I have it for 1 year already - it's working just fine. Walmart is giving you 1 year warranty. I bought on sale it was $108 for this battery, original price was $125. I wouldn't buy used one, it's a lottery - it might be good might be bad.

I will try to hookup my friends trailer to see what happens. Got tested the car and mechanic said - it's ok. Try different magnetic lights and it was ok. Mechanic said - ground issue, will be working on it for next couple days.
-
If you had no power at all out of the vehicle, I'd say check a fuse, but since most of your lights are working, I think its a bad ground, or a bad connection on that circuit. Are you hooking the trailer to your vehicle when your testing the lights? Sometimes my running lights will do the same thing, then come on once I drive 50ft down the road. There is a bad ground in there somwhere that grounds out thru the hitch once I move a little. If I don't have the trailer hooked to the vehicle, the running lights won't work for me.
I ran a separate ground right from the plug to each rear light to cure this problem.
S.
I didn't try it with trailer hooked up to the car.
Will try to check it today.
-
Guys,
I didn't ask if i need to check any fuses?
-
Irishfield, I was using magnetic lights for testing, same thing - passenger side is ok, drivers isn't working.
-
Bernie,
I think you are right. This tester was not working on the old converter at all. With new converter it's showing all good. Once trailer is connected passenger side is working fine, but drivers isn't, I guess you are right - it's something wrong with wiring on the car side. Will take a car to mechanic and will have it install by pro.
-
Picked up a small tester from CT to check the connection. It's showing the issue with car wiring, will change converter today.
-
I will check the ground tomorrow morning again. Thank you for your advise.
-
Sounds like a short with the running lights on the trailer. Double check all the wiring you can get to. If you disconnect the drivers trailer light can you get running lights on the passenger side?
Same thing - not working, tried already.
I think i did something to converter when i was switching light in the first place. I already checked all wiring.
I guess will have to buy a new converter and try with it.
-
Hmm maybe the parking lamps are causing the issue? Duf you have the lights on when the car was off and you were testing the signal and brakes?
When car is off and the light are off, signals and brakes are working. Once lights are on doen't matter car engine is running or not - they aren't working any more.
I guess i screwed up with converter, i will try to connect wires directly tomorrow.
Will keep you posted.
-
Just a small update - i was checking lights when car wasn't on started.
I started the car and none of the trailer lights are working now, car lights are OK - all of them.
Once car is on none of signals are working on the trailer. But once the engine is off, turn signals and stop signals are OK.
I guess i have done something to car wiring once i was switching the lights.
-
Check your ground wires, especially the one between your tow vehicle and trailer.
Are you talking about white cable? Using a screw i attached it to the trailer frame.
