I picked up mine from Radioworld. Was around $45 for 9 amp/hours.

I have 597 ci hd. Bought it to use in the boat and on ice. Awesome unit, easy to use and setup. I didn't get di because I thought I won't be able to use it in winter, but apperantly there is no problem to do that. My friend is using 597 di with ice ducer without any problem.

Hey all,
We have an ice fishing trip planned on Nipissing starting tomorrow. Anyone have any recent reports from South bay? How much damage did the rain and warm spell do?
I came back from Nippising this Wednesday. We have from 10"-12" of ice everythere. I don't think you need to worry. Fishing was good.

Nicely done Chad.

Just recieved a used Autopilot in the mail today, no instructions...I figured out how the compass device mounts, but I can't figure out how to secure that black square piece...I don't want it flopping around...
Can anyone explain or better yet post a picture??? 4 screws on the underside of the head hold the top on...
Please see if this video will help:

Hi Chad,
I really like to use Rapala Jointed Shad Rap JSR-5 or JSR-7. They are pretty small but you can cast them far away. Good for all species - pike, walleye, bass and even musky. Perch color is most productive for me.

My buddy and I are plannin' on hitting up either Canal or Mitchell lake for some invasive pikes. I've heard they're pike factories, is this true? Any tips for lures or certain kinds of structure to look for? Is one lake better than the other? I'll be sure to write up a report on how it went, being that we hook into some of those toothy my mom hates me. Anyhow, any kind of advice is much appreciated.
I was on the Mitchell last Sunday. Water level is low. It's hard to navigate - you have to clean up your prop every minute because of the weeds. Fishing was slow. Didn't fish Canal Lake this year.

Thank you guys, your comments are really helpful.

I am using charger and maintainer from CT. Both are good, both are Motomaster and were purchased on 50% sale.
