  1. Hi guys,

I would like to register my boat. It's not a hard thing to do, but i don't have bill of sale and this boat never has been registered before.

Service Canada asked me to fill out Declaration where the present owner of a pleasure craft is unable to provide bill and sign it with lawyer.

I am wondering if somebody can tell me what is ok to put in the field:"State why the Licence or Bill of Sale cannot be produced". I don't have any ideas and would appreciate any help.

    Thanks

  2. Hey guys, I am considering taking these courses full time and was wondering if anyone could suggest good schools/training programs that don't run for just 2 or 3 days and cover just the advanced topics. I would be looking for full time courses or condensed courses that cover all bases from basic to advanced. I've done some research but just don't know which are the better programs/schools out there. Also, any good books that you can think of would be most helpful as well. Thanks for any help.

    Hi James,

You can get some tests here:

    http://www.examcollection.com/

I will recommend to do them before exam, most of the question are in those files. But to prepare i will recommend microsoft books for MCSA/MCSE.

  3. Hi guys,

I really need to get some help. I bought my first alliminium boat last week. It's came with suzuki D9.9 hp motor, probably 1984, at least that is writing on the manual. The boat and motor were being stored at garage for 10 years or even more. When i was buying the boat i started the motor and i saw fuel coming out at the place where the fuel hose connector is coming to motor fuel connector part, guy who sold me told that this is oil ring which was on the motor connector part is bad, i checked and yes it was bad. Motor was running fine. I bought an oil ring and put on the motor connector part. I took boat yesterday for a test and i wasn't able to make a motor to run. Fuel was leaking pretty badly every time i was pressing bulb. I take a fuel line and tank with me to closest marina. Guy looked at it and sad that i need to replace fuel line connector but he doesn't have it in stock. On my way home i stopped on other marina. Another person try to help me and pointed my atention on fuel line connectro saying that where is another ring inside of it. He managed to pull it our and it was destroyed completely. Rubber was pretty much like a plastic, really hard to bend even. I am positive that problem is not with the motor, because i can start it once the fuel get to the system and stops because off this leaking.

I took both parts off the motor.

Can you guys let me know where i can get these 2 rings installed?

I don't really want to buy a new connectors.

I already talked to Suzuki dealer and they wants $150+hst. Unfortanutely it's too much for me.

I attached eimages of those parts.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

  4. RedHead Thunderlight is my personal favorite (Pants & jacket). It's very lightweight, compact and breathable. You can store in the bottom of a bag, even tacklebox if you got the room. I've worn it through some very heavy downpours and always dry as can be when I take it off. Used it for 4hrs of fishing Sunday morning in the pouring rain at a cottage up north and I didn't have a change of clothes with me. Thankfully I was dry as can be after :)

Looks good to me. Did you get it from BPS? Do you know if they have all sizes at the store?

  5. Hi Guys,

I am looking for a new rain suit.

I would like to get your opinion and help.

I used to have this one:

    http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_58186_100014000_100000000_100014000_100-14-0

My opinion is - a waist of money. It's light weighted and breathable, but won't last long(one year for me and pants gone).

I checked a BPS: they do have only some XL and up sizes suites. Nothing what i can put on myself.

Found that one on Cabelas: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/pod/horizontal-pod.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/pod-link.jsp_A&_DAV=null-cat21162&rid=&indexId=cat21162&navAction=push&masterpathid=&navCount=0&parentType=index&parentId=cat21162&id=0026939&cmCat=netcon&cm_ven=netcon&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=&cm_ite=netcon&rid=2146251080

I am wondering if somebody ownes one. Looks like a pretty good one. Prise is pretty good as well - it's around $221 USD(duties+shipping included). But i am affraid that i can order a wrong size.

If somebody can give me a good advise i will really appreciate that. Maybe you can point me to some other rainwear here in GTA stores.

    Thanks.

  6. I realise there have been lots of battery threads on the forum, just a quick question.

Anybody using the deep cycle Energizers sold at Walmart? What do you think of them?

Heading to Restoule in four days, need a new deep cycle for around $120 or less.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hey,

i was asking same question couple months ago. I followed Roy advice and got Energizer for myself. It's pretty good battery.

  7. Anyone ever fish Twin Sisters Lake near Marmora or Mitchell Lake near Kirkfield ? Thinking of trying one but can't decide which one.

    Hi Hutch,

I was fishing on Mitchell last Sunday. It's pretty shallow lake. Fishing was good, we got a lot of fish(pike, bass), but all small size.

I was their first time. A lot of small pike(less than 1 lb), got a 4 largemouth, biggest was around 2 lb.

  8. Could not get out today for opener hope everybody did well. Hitting Quinte around Trenton tomorrow new area to me I am told there are lots-o-bass, any tips from OFC'Rs would be appreciated.

    Hi,

Spent all day today fishing Quinte in Belleville area with my dad. It was raining almost full day, a lot of people left pretty early. Fishing was good - we got everything - walleye, bass, pike. I got extremely huge sheephead(1 metr long). Used a worm for bass, spinners(blue fox 4 - silver with orange) for pike and bass.

    Good luck

  9. Anyone have or have used one of them? I saw them at Wal-mart for under $100 bucks. Wondering how good these are? The reviews online did nothing.

Wouldnt mind buying something like that and maybe adding a trolling motor on it.

    Hi,

I have a seahawk 400 sport. it's made from armored PVC and it's pretty good quality boat.

Oars are bad quality, but i am using it with trolling motor and i am pretty happy with it.
