Haha. Hyundai bashing. The pony was a long time ago. Great article, and i agree in principal. The comments after are accurate as well, the advertised price is seldom within shouting distance of the final price.
Have you read online reviews from actual owners of these vehicles or are you just looking for opinions based on water cooler talk at the office?
Ive heard that the more modern hyundais are much better than their rightfully maligned earlier efforts.
That being said, my barbers sister has a cousin that says her accountant had one that was in the shop all the time.
Seriously, my sister actually had one, of the era you refer to, and it was a nightmare. Had an unsolvable gremlin that caused a no start conditoon for the life of the lease. Dealer support/ understanding was pretty poor...just one example however...
Good luck to you.
thanks for comments,
I did read some information before posting that topic here. i just want to get output from people who are currently driving Hyundai.

Hi guys,
I would like to get some output on Hyundai Santa FE 2005 or 2006 model. How does it work for you?
My sister is owner of Tucson 2011, she is really happy with her car, and it's really nice car in my opinion.
But how older models are doing?
I was looking on V6 2.7l AWD model. I am not concerned about towing, because my 14 footer is pretty light and i am towing it with my Pontiac.
It's more like a family car.
I did search and most people are pretty happy with those cars. But i don't know anyone who owns Santa Fe and can tell me good and bad things about that car.
thanks

Same awesome experience. Last year I broke a tip of my 4 years old Crucial rod, sent to service center and couple months later received 2012 model.

Was hoping to go after some pike in Mitchell Lake this spring, but when I drove past a few months back the lake was pretty much empty. Is the water back and did the pike come with it? Or do the pike head for Canal or Balsam when the water drops? We went one day last year and it felt good to annhilate a few pike that are heading through the Kawarthas. Would like to slay a few more this year if I could. If Mitchell is still just a puddle with stumps, perhaps someone could point me in the direction of high pike density in Balsam.
I was fishing it 3 last weekends. Water level is low. Pike is in the lake. I can't say that bite is on, but i caught couple every time.

I have an old 14 foot fiberglass canoe with a thru tear about 7 or 8 inches long [sorry, no pictures at this time]. I have never done a repair of this nature, but it seems as though all I will need is fiberglass cloth and marine grade epoxy resin, with a filler for the top layer. What weight of cloth would you reccomend for the repair? This will be a lake canoe, and will not be facing much abuse from rocks. Are they any specific brands of epoxy resin or filler you would reccomend? Thanks in advance.
this is best thing you can get, solid as a rock:

I guess I'll be left waiting anxiously until it's available again
Me too,
Actually i was curious what's going on with this app, thanks to you now i do know.
-
Thanks Drifter, I already had that link but it wasn't showing the right apps.
Turns out, in small print in the news section, that as of april 11 the marine apps are not available, they are under maintenance
Does it say when this app will be availalbe again?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I need some help here. Recently i decided to upgraded my 9.9 Hp Johnson 2000 to something more powerful. I don't know much about motors. I found one deal which really good for my budget. It's 1965 20 HP Mercury. It's a desent shape, owner checked compresion - it's all good. The lower unit was complete rebuilt drive shaft, prop shaft all seals new impeller. Top end was all checked out. New fuel lines and fitting, new tank. Bearings were fine. Complete sand down of motor and repainted with zinc chromate and than a two part paint. This was done 2 years ago.
Friend of mine is saying that i don't need it, because i will be in trouble all the time. I don't know what to do?
It's quite old motor but how good is it? Is it reliable?
What whould be your advice - should i buy it?

Irecommend Amzoil. Been using it in my 96 2 stroke from day 1 and my motor has never seen a mechanics hands except for scheduled maintenance.
second for Amzoil.

That's good to hear!! I am a little worried about the small eyelets. They are very small, ice up might be an issue...
That's my concern as well. I own couple of rods with small eyelets, and there is a big issue with ice build up everytime you are reeling lure out.

I bought a blue charts for my Garmin from kijiji, I saw the same guy still advertise. $20 I paid for sd card, it's working great.

I am wondering if somebody can share experience using ice fishing rods from Simax.
thank you

I am putting minnows in salt for couple days, after that I am washing them and drying on news paper for 30 minutes. All minnows are going to plastic box and in my fridge. I am not keeping them in freezer, because after freezer it's hard to keep them on the hook.
-
Nicely done.....got a good little fry there. What were you using?
I was using Lindy's Fly spoon tipped with big minnow, father - mostly jigging Raps tipped with Janson eggs or Berkley Gulp maggots.
Pike was caught on tip-up with big shiner.
