  1. The custom worked wonders on the bows last fall. This trip I used 9.5 old Fenwick with 6 pound Siglon V (equel diameter to most 4 lb lines) on a Zebco Cardinal 3. My "all round" outfit you might say. That custom you built me is a work of art, and my favorite Bow rod now. Here's a shot of the rod, and a bow that came to it.
  2. Nothing wrong with that pal. I fly fished headwaters for years for those pretty little jewels. There were no Specks rising at all on these lakes last weekend. Every Speck caught was full of leeches. A fella with a sinking or sinking tip 7 weight would have fun with leech patterns, and probably would have outfished us spinners.
  3. It's on the list my friend. This trip (last weekend) was my first fishing trip since last May! I've been way to busy marrying off kids, parties and working. I'll make up for it and get in touch with Cliff soon.
  4. Oh buddy, there's a lot of flavour in them cheeks! And the crispy tails and fins are better than any chips you'll ever eat!
  5. Exactly Beats. I always thought it an honor to a great fish to keep it whole in the pan. Now that I know where the larger Specks live, I'll be looking for a 24 inch pan.
  6. We hit a couple of back lakes in the Gogama area last weekend. The colours were great for photos and the fishing was alright as well. All Brook Trout were caught on spinners and all fish were released, some into the lake, and some into the frying pan.
  7. That will maqke a great report WalleyeD, can't wait to see it
  8. buck-eighty five for the good seats, going on sale tomorrow!
  9. I fished last Fri, Sat and Sun. We gave up trolling Pickerel and hit the back bays out of the wind. We had three days of action on LM and SM bass. The trick for me was dark blue / glitter Senko's fished real slow in shallow water near structure.
  10. We'll do that for sure Dave! Talk to him about Lakers at Mike's cottage Feb 24th. Same as the last time pal! We'll keep an eye on the kids!
  11. It's great to have you with us David. Welcome.

  13. I expect a hit on every drift! Doesn't always happen though! Photoz, can you share Aunties recipe?
  14. Very nice catch Photoz! I like to eat fish also, and don't worry about how they're held when they are destined for the oven! This one was a nice meal!
  15. Great report KC! Thanks for posting that! Someday I'll give those fish a try!
  16. Very nice catch pal! Congrats! I can't imagine the water in those shots above being normally 2 feet lower than what I see!
  17. I go fishing when ever she lets me!
  18. I think those two Browns are related! Probably cousins.
