A somewhat private lake in the camberidge area has been recently charging $10to park only for the parking in the winter only. They are trying to clean it up, and the mess that some leave behind on the ice,its a joke.No name calling here,Ill keep an eye open this year as ussual. And if your hungry there is a little restaurant that you have to pass to get to the lake.If your thirsty they do have a liquor license also.No need for us to clean your mess,Im not a bussboy, but feel like oneanyway.A little gem i like to go to.cheers to mcclintock and rest to what your doing for the lake.A concert benefit every year.10 bucks will go a long way,no issues for me to pay a little at all.

That end is not my issue ,Ifound a plug to fit,its the sony end.Its a yellow port and the same plug doesnt fit.I figured that they are same ports, there not for some reason.I would eventually like to do what charlie white was doing.recording while down rigging.thanks for your input.cheers and good fishing to you.v

I would like to see it,adapter cables are cheap.Well I'm calling Bull on this one, unless you want me to go take a picture of my Scout with the RCA plugs engaged, they fit just fine. -
Im still laughing about it. maybe I should send the wife out to get a husky jerk, but that might backfire on me.Many more to come.I asked her on day to look for jerk baits, she went upstairs and came back down holding a beer in her hand.MErry Christmas...love the prank!! -
Thanks ill check it out,Im sure bills bait and tackle can order it for me.cheers and thanks.

As for the cord I tried, the aquaview end was fine the sony end didnt fit, they must be different ports. Both are yellow.Went fishing with rob d today,I think he can match them up.Thank you Ill try radioshack,I think there gone from hamilton area.cheers.Curiosity got me, went and checked my Scout manual, it says, use a patch cord with RCA plugs at each end, one goes into your Sony camcorder "in" jack, the other end into the Aqua Vu video "out". These patch cords are the same as you use to hook up any type of the older Stereo/TV components, cost next to nothing. Like these: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...oductId=2103856 -

with a st croix rod and a shimano baitcaster,a different approach to bottom bouncing for trout.I feel everything threw my thumb. What a difference to float fishing.Yep, same deal with my baitcast setup, only I be using my thumb. -
Sharpening my treble hooks, applying my devcon 2ton to my muskie glidebaits, and thinking of 2010 summer fishing.

Does anyone know if I can plug my sony camcorder and record from an aqua view.Having a hard time finding a cable to mate the two.Sayal electronics in burlington should have it,but they were of no help.Does aqua wiew have cables to adapt to different brands of cam corders? I would like to film using my aquaview if possible.Thanks.V

Any cert instructor that is interested to come on board my boat in the spring, and willing to watch and instruct as to how I am operating the vessel,pm me.I dont mind paying the rate.Im fully insured.Just having a few issues and would like hands on instruction.Im new to this type of boat.20 ft bowrider,140 mercruiser. My first season with it and was being cautious with it.The boating card was too easy to get.....

They have good selection, and very reasonable I may add.As do others on my fav list.Cheers G and P.

Lots of info online.I boats.com has been a good source for me.For the initial winterizing get a pro to do it and watch.Trust me its worth it. i baught one that was winterized by the owner at the time,2 cracks in the block in the spring. The engine had to be rebuilt anyway.

castle makes a fantastic product, liquid torch, spray a few times let it sit and spray again.I keep a few cans in my service vehicle, just in case my cutting torch runs dry.Ive used dozens of brands and types.wd 40 is a good cleaning agent, bicycle chains etc.But not a penetrant, maybe a temp lube.

you must have been fishing waterford. It happens there a lotMy initial reaction would be no, as they tend to be near the bottom. However, last week one took a swipe at my float... It has the teeth marks on it to prove it.

Good question.A guy a few weeks back went nuts over a few that were fishing the dam.The south side can be dangerous, and will suck you in,if your not geared properly. This guy was on the north side and I dont blame him for his anger towards these few.Why is it allowed to fish the dam in Caledonia when it's not anywhere else? -
Don't worry too much about the poachers Vinni, they'll get caught soon enough. A digital camera has become a necessary tool for the avid fisherman these days... and we love to see pics of poachers on here!!! You can get a pretty nice digital camera for under 100 bux now, maybe Santa should bring you one?
If the estrogen level was 3 to 1 in this house, I'd go fishing every day!
Tell your wife to quit hitting you in the head with the wooden spoon!
I try, trust me I try.Or do something related to fishing.

Afew years back the officers monitored the dam,And i have seen charges laid regularly.Mainly tresspassing, and some for not having licenses. When it first came into effect. Also for littering. The bucket knock overs, good for him.I think thats why I rarely catch a crappy or sunfish at mountsberg.Too many buckets filled.Well for the grand itself my eyes are wide open, its not what it used to be.And few extra restictions would help.Pickerel fishing has been better lately but the pike are a lot smaller than average.Regarding your comment that the police in caledonia have had their hands full in the last few years ( suppose you mean to native occupation of that build site.. )Police were present, hands full? not likely since they did absolutely nothing to help the people of caledonia.
that aside, The Caledonia dam is one of the spots that is unfortunately very pooly enforced.
If it was enforced you'd see everyone gettin booted from fishing the whirlpools/fish ladders as that obviously violates the regs...
But it just gets worse every year.
As someone who grew up in caledonia.. its a sad sad thing for sure.
I am no ninja either, but I know a few locals who take their own revenge on those who ignore the rules.. more then a few flat tires and "accidental" bucket knock overs into the river have come when these guys have been OOS fishing / fishing illegally ( saw one guy w/ a net dragging it through the main run on the south side , after his 2nd fish netted in 5 minutes i had enough and the net "dissapeared" when he returned to his truck to drop his fish off.. oooops! )
anyways,
dont be shocked by them usin 3 rods, thats the least of the infractions you can expect to see there on any given fall or spring weekend.
mnr, police do nothing.
