  1. I have only ever seen them on underpowered rigs!
  2. Please don`t call Brian BRAIN he will get a swelled head!!!
  3. You can print a temp card after the test, I think it took a couple of weeks to get the card in the mail.
  4. Agreed if they want your stuff they will get it. I think I am just going to use a latch/hasp and a good padlock it will look like but I am hoping it may be a bit of a deterent and they will move on to a easier target. Apparently there are alarm systems for boats.
  5. Balsam Lake PP was a favorite of our family for many years great park in my opinion. Fishing is pretty good, big muskie and good small and largemouth.
  6. Just looking for ideas on locking stuff up on your bass boats, the locks on my Stratos storage compartments are not worth a darn. I was thinking a hasp and latch type deal but that is ugly as sin. Any ideas out there??
  7. There is no shortage of people that break the rules, I must have seen 1/2 dozen or so adults pulling their kids around on tubes/waterski`s this past weekend and not one had a spotter. I saw one guy pulling his fam on a huge float thingy and the thing actually got airborne for 20 feet or so, the driver was clueless because he was looking a head and no spotter of course. I am sure the kids thought it was cool, wouldn`t have been too cool it the thing would have flipped!!
  8. LOL, Our good friends to the south have solved the problem they just keep printing money. 13 Trillion dollars of debt and growing by the minute.
  9. Lived in the area for 20 plus years never heard the res. called Mikes Island. Lots of snot rockets aswell as pretty good bass fishing. There is lots of good fly fishing opportunities in the area everything from smallies to browns. The guy you want to get intouch with is Graham Bristow his store is called Anglers pro shop it`s on Broadway.
  10. There is one for sale on Kijji.
  11. Ontario could use Mike Harris`s politics again to fix the mess McSquinty and his band of lefties has Ontario in. Imagine having an idea that requires chronic welfare bums to work for the hand out, shame!!!
  12. IMHO Premier Harris was liked very much by the average joe working man but I can see why left leaning Liberal/NDP`ers would not like Mike.
  13. There is a nice Princecraft in the OFC classy`s way better than a Legend!
  14. Same here Brian our last mattress purchase was from the Sleep Country in O`ville no complaints, and Leons I buy most of my stuff from Leons and for the most part they are great but the last time I had a delivery the delivery/setup guys were the laziest s.o.b`s I have ever seen!
  15. We need more politicians like Mike Harris!
  16. A couple of years ago I was pitching senko`s for greenies on Scugog and caught the same darn Musky twice in 10 minutes!!!
  17. I support weeding out the cronically stupid!!!
  18. Not really sure yet,the Alumacraft/90Yammy was pretty good on gas I am thinking the 75 Opti will be pretty close. I get way better MPG towing the Stratos. So far I have no complaints about the Opti, not as quiet as the Yammy but close and no smoke too speak of starts real easy like the 4 stroke and black just looks better!
  19. That`s a lot of skill right there and maybe a little luck!!
  20. I use to have a trailer on Scugog and I loved fishing for Walleye, I forgot how many of those nuisance musky I caught on small 1/8 and 1/4 oz. jigs and many many times when I got the eye`s on a jig the musky were trying to grab it off the jig before I got it to the boat. Pain in the those Musky!!
  21. Nice rig for sure cool colour, I like my Opti.
  22. not the best picture but here it is! More pictures when it warms up of me watersking in my speedo!!!
  23. I have one for my 75 Opti, 60 bucks well spent imho!! I think any size would benefit from the use of a TS, good for the boat and motor.
  24. Well finally had a chance to get out in the Stratos and do some fishing and see just how these bass boat thingy`s are for fishing. Huge difference from the Alumacraft, in the Alumacraft I never thought I was going fast but 42 MPH in the Stratos seems mighty fast I can only imagine how JPD`s 80 MPH rig feels. I like the low sides of the bass boat and I really like the stability versus the the tin boat. I think I might need a teather on my leg as I almost dumped myself in the water a couple of times, note to self do not have the trolling motor set on high and casually press the go button. Caught several others just like the above snotter Bass season can`t get here too soon catching these snotters is boring.
