I bought some spiderwick (green) excellent line never birdsnest or anything and casts beautifully...I haven't landed a fish with it yet but soon VERY soon or go to the fish market and take some pics with the hook stuck inside hehe .....some help with fishing 101 also would be nice I'm doomed!

went out on rice Lake took shelter behind an island but coming we were bouncing of some high break water was brutal on the back...didn't catch anything but met a real nice guy .....bad experience for my first boating experience fishing but seriously was a good day.....I should have listened to people and stayed off the lake but couldn't resist trying out boat fishing! bit over-rated but I'm sure I might try it again!

Dude if your not renting a boat and want to find some good spots there are a few government docks in the area I heard are good to fish from ! http://www.thefishinguide.com/rice.shtml found this amazing website ..I heard GoresLanding is a good spot .
