  1. if you don't have a tow package there is no wire provided. You have to add the blue wire from the controller to the rear plug like irishfield mentioned, you do have to also tap into the side of the brake switch that has 12v when the brake pedal is applied no wire is provided for this either, and then a 12v battery feed (should use a circuit breaker) in this circuit and a very good ground preferably to the battery neg. I would never use a tap in type quick connector, I know it's hard to get at that brake wire but soldier and shrink tube is best.
  2. ... and you fish too, I'm pretty sure your my newest most favoritest person!
  3. What do you have any idea what that's worth? very nice irishfield I'd say one of the most desirable muscle cars in the world! what else you got hiding around there?
  4. I'm trying to stay neutral here, isn't it working? Truth is my first new car was a 1979 Black Z28 with a 4 speed, had it for 9 years. If I could own anything I wanted now though it be a SRT 10 Viper powered truck!
  5. I wonder why they didn't use a SRT with a 6.1 and a RK Stang since they used a Camaro with 6.2 vette engine. We are witnessing the hp wars similar to late 60's, I was to young to enjoy it then but not this time!

  7. yeah I forgot about the "dirty bird" comment, I would love an explanation to what that means, anybody have any idea?
  8. aaahhh just wait, I wish I could tell you
  9. Here is a couple of pics of my old Mopar, 1960 D100. I brought it in from Georgia last February, it is currently undergoing a frame off restoration. It took me years to find, I specifically wanted a 1960 same year I was born, short box and of course it had to be a Dodge. Dodge did not sell many pick ups in the 50's and early 60's making them very hard to find especially with enough left to rebuild.
  10. the concepts are displayed to try out new ideas, the public's reaction to these concept vehicles is closely observed. If a concept gets enough attention at shows over a couple of years it has a chance to make it to market. The amount of market for that vehicle is what ultimately decides if it will be produced. The mustang , camaro and challenger were all concepts that got a lot of attention and are being produced, but these cars will not be big money makers, they are a image builder, the Viper is even a better example of a image builder and not a money maker. People's taste in cars varies a great deal and it's hard to satisfy all appetites especially in these times of making more profit rules.
  11. nice, I have fond memories riding around in my friend's Dad's 69 Super Bee, 383 4 sp. It would hall ASS!
  12. I work in Chrysler Research and Development and usually know of new models well in advance of production and I have no knowledge of a 2 door Charger in the works. The Challenger is the only 2 door muscle car for now.
  13. it was on the Toronto 6 oclock news on Global Star choice channel 331. A member of the Senate I believe wants to have a cull to harvest Canada geese to feed the hungry. There are so many in the parks and beaches around TO that they are the reason for beeches being closed and the messy shoreline from you know what. They use dogs to try and scare the geese away. Of course there was opposition to the idea. They didn't really say whether the idea was going to go any further. I happen to think it's a heck of a good idea!
  14. I've never heard of changing the fuel oil mix ratio depending on the temperature.
  15. I love the box mounted tool boxes but keep in mind they prevent you from putting on a cap and certain tonneau covers if that's important to you. Chrysler quit paying for fill ups on new vehicles a couple of months ago but I think the dealer should have adsorbed the cost and delivered it with a full tank.
  16. thanks T.J. got the hats and shirt today, everything fits, wife loves her new pony tail hat! Nice Stuff!
  17. Global news is having a news segment on using Canada Geese to feed the hungry tonight for those interested.
  18. $1600 doesn't seem to get you much as far as a boat goes so it sounds pretty good, I like the idea of getting a ride before buying if you can arrange it. Good Luck
  19. Thanks for that I hope they are still around, I'm still struggling with learning all the fishing regs. I was going to tackle hunting this fall/ winter.
  20. misfish, sorry to do this to ya again but I wanted to rub it in a bit more!
  21. Can we add turkeys to a spring hunt, these guys have been fertilizing my property for the last week now. I've been putting out corn for deer all winter. I have the feeling the deer aren't the only things I've been feeding!
  22. most commonly used is a deep cycle battery enclosed in a plastic battery box that comes with a couple of brackets and a strap that holds the lid and box secure to the boat. A little wood platform secured to the ribs of the boat would make a nice base for it all to sit on. If you want to go a little further install a on board waterproof battery charger and then just plug it in when not in use and the battery will always be charged. Minn Kota makes a great battery box it has two 12v plug in receptacles, battery gauge and two resettable circuit breakers. I just did my boat came out to about $300 for everything I mentioned.
  23. Hey Sinker I see that you used ceder on your boat, I recently found out that pressure treated lumber and aluminum have a bad reaction when side by side, the copper in the pressure treated wood corrodes the aluminum. I want to fill in between my casting decks and will be using cedar. Thought I'd mention it in case others might be considering using PT for various projects.
  24. hey fishinfool maybe you'd get that boat done if you didn't spend so much time on this forum!!! JUST KIDDING, it's became addictive for me too. Looks like your boats coming along nicely
  25. I guess I'm missing something so what's the challenge?
