    Was out on kempenfelt Sunday and lost power. Just tore the motor down and have a scorched piston, and nobody makes them anymore.

      Yea I'm gonna check around for some N.o.s stuff. I think it had a stuck ring from sitting for years. I haven't given up yet. It's a 55 hp Easton's viking. 1969. (Chrysler). Ran like a champ for 20 min or so. I haven't given up yet.

    Anyone else have pesky herring all day on simcoe? I caught about 30. I'd move and they'd be there too.

      Personally I like the herring. Can't keep em but they were bigger then the perch and fight really well.

      They fight like a wet sock compared to a laker. Kinda fun for. The first ten min. Looking down the hole and seeing 10,000 fish
