GREAT!!!!
I have no money!!!
Cabin material purchases add up pretty fast here.
And even worse are those unplanned expenses.
My espresso machine broke yesterday and I had to fork out over $1200 for a new one.

Guy at work bought a Kia wagon. Not sure what model. Apparently to change one set of plugs - you have to lift the motor? Tune ups suck up any savings there..
As for that arrangement you got there Brian - just plain dumb. Design dept didn't talk with the maintenance dept,
There were some 80's or 90's Chevy FWD V-6 vehicles with the same issue.

I have seen them in front of the rear tire.
In NASCAR!!!!
-
What do you expect?
It's a Chrysler product!!!!
They are designed by short bus riding monkeys!!!!

You go to a 14P and you will drop to about 5600 rpms but should gain 1-2 mph on top end while losing a touch of hole shot.

The first mossies are just showing themselves here now.
The early ones (big and slow) showed up a week or so ago.
The small speedy ones are not far behind, followed by hoards of black flies and huge aggressive Caribou (AKA Horse) flies.
But at least it's not -40!!!!
-
How you knowing this Dave???I used to know a month in advance where I once worked.lol.
Top secret!!
I get the flyer on line the day before it is released on paper.

CT has Dryguard Boat covers on sale starting later this week.
$150 off!!!
-
Wow---I almost jinxed that Huh?
I'm afraid you are going to have to be
until the Cup has been awarded!!!

Drifter is absolultely correct on the too high RPM's.
But he would gain top end speed going bigger pitch and lose some holeshot.
But it would also increase the trolling speed too.
I'd highly recommend going SS though. A good propeller can really improve performance.
HEHE my bad. Took my several minutes to remember which way to go in pitch to reduce RPMs.

I don't know too many things that are better to start your day than opening an email that tells you you won some goodies!!!
I checked my email when I got to work this morning and what do I find but a note from Cabelas Canada letting me know that I was a winner in their Facebook PFD give away!!!
Got a Cabelas Guideware 3500 auto inflating PFD on the way to me!!!
Now I can use my manual just while kayaking and river running and the auto while in the power boat.

@ 6200 RPM WOT you are under propped according to your motors specs (RPM range 5000-6000).
To get you down into a safer RPM range you should increase pitch to 19" Prop diameter of 13" or 13 1/4".
This will drop you to around 5800 WOT. You will gain a little on the bottom end and lose a bit on the top end.
Trolling speed will be slightly negatively impacted though.

4-4 I guess it's not over huh?
-
4-3 Now.

This game...She's Over 4-1
4-2 now.
It ain't over until the final whistle.
Just ask the Leafs.

Let's hope! I read an article from the now fired assistant coach that said he thought Leo's leaving was a bigger impact then the everyone thought.
Of course it was!!!
I was
when I found out he was leaving.
That dude had the highest compete level on the team!!!
I really hope he returns.

Talk to your local home insulation guy.
Have them spray in some Wall Tight Eco. It is closed cell foam and will not absorb water.
The original foam was open cell and it can/will absorb water over time.

Iv'e seen a bike building show where the son uses a hand grinder to cut parts ,then welds and assembles and they are worth $100 grand or so.In the right hands these tools perform art !!!
EXACTLY!!! You should see what I can do with some lamp cord, a 9V battery and some C4!!!!

back to bare foot wader.............
Yes indeed I checked the line guides, they are fine, so are the edges of the spools on my spinning reels. Yes I do re-tie, as I mentioned, but I am still thinking I need a change of line. By the sounds of things, Seaguar and Drennan are both good choices for leaders.
I fished Silver Thread back in the 80s and did not like it, never went back. I fished Stren in the 70s and didn't like it, never went back. Both companies probably produce fine lines these years, but.................it is hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
Doug
I feel the same way about Hummingbird fish finders. Had one in the 80's, it sucked. Can't see past that to even think about buying one now.

40# is not heavy line.
No need to crimp until you hit 80#+ line.
-
I use either a Trilene knot or a UNI.
I also use pliers or the hook of a large spoon to get a grip on the swivel so I can cinch it up properly.
-
Yep. I'm going to hit the 10GB limit before the end of the month too.
-
I can't help but laugh at this, glad the kid got back to shore but what was he thinking?
The same thing you and I were @ 17 Bill.
