I look @ my call display and if I don't recognize the # I let it go to voice mail.
If they need to talk to me they leave a message. If they're trying to sell me something they don't.

Once fishing in 220' off the tank farm in Pt. Credit.
My Penn 209 loaded with 20# mono emptied before I could get my boat turned around.
Came real close on the Kenai when I hooked up on a giant bow. Took 200 yds of 10' main line and 50 yds of backing before O got the fish stopped. Lost it after a 30 minute battle.
Had a guest up at Great Bear get spooled in seconds by a giant laker in 5' waves!!!

Yah.. they're running those and then some! The +10 days on the ice.. they almost run into stuff watching their temperature gauges so hard! lol
HA!!! By the time it's 50 out up here there's no getting on the ice.

Watching Lloyd and Terry constantly hunting for fluffy snow or something to dust into their cooling intakes while on the lake... I'll take my fan cooled 500 every day of the week!
These work for me.

Sad news. And also heard that MR. HOCKEY could be next. 3 stroke. Sad sad sad.
Nice game byes.
Actually he didn't have another stroke.
It was reported last night as well.
It looks as though he was suffering from dehydration and was exhausted.
Supposed to go home today or tomorrow if he keeps improving.

You could do what I did.
Waste most of your life fishing and having fun and then when you finally figure out that you are going to need to retire at some point find one of those lucrative public service jobs!!!

It's not really for ice fishing but I could use it if I wanted.
I'm in the middle of designing and building a large komatik to haul my building materials in to my cabin site.
The size will be just under 4' wide and 12' long.
My new planer and belt sander should come in handy.
I'll post pics when I get it built.

Wouldn't do squat for me.
Most of the time my 16,000 BTU sunflower heater can't keep my hut warm enough to stop my holes and lines from freezing up.
I do want to pick up one of the regular buddy heaters for use in my camper in Alaska though. I have used my buddies and it works quite well and I don't have to listen to the furnace going.

I got free shipping. I just ordered it for a friend as a gift. Used code 99blkfri. Its the canadian site. Came out to $192Cad after tax.
AHH, the Canookian site.

No free shipping to Canada with Cabelas only the lower 48 states.
I have shifted most of my purchasing to BPS as their free shipping deals include Canada and only charge $3.50 for brokerage fees.

Canuck2fan, I wish I was at that garage sale!
Me too!!!

Was looking at the CT site last night as I need a planer for a project.
Well they had the Mastercraft 3 1/2" bundled with their belt sander on for $89.95.
Went in today and found out that the sale ended yesterday.
No problem though as the manager did a price over ride and gave me the sale price.
Regular price is $210 for the bundle.
I have had nothing but good luck dealing with my local store.
They know how to keep us customers happy.
Now I guess I have to take care of that project.
PICs to come.

If I ever make it to Australia do not under any circumstances go in the freaking water!!!!

How do you post the vid where the picture of it shows up not just the blue link.
On Youtube copy the embed code and on the reply to topic click on more reply options and then on the right side enable HTML.
Paste code into window and you're good to go.

Awesome.
So those bows. Are they local river fish or do they live in the ocean?
They are native river fish Pierre.
There are a few ocean run steelhead that roam up the river though.
