Barrie seems to be able to pour in on when needed.Last nights 3 goal lead that shrunk to 1 showed that.Another quick goal and great defence. They also have 3 goalies not two,that can play on any given day. When they get to the memorial cup,that will be the real test IMO. Yes I said ,when.

Like mentioned by our member KF, lake Simcoe herring, took a major hit back 10+ years ago and were closed.I wont deniy that I took my fair share of them,great eat,n. Now they have rebounded in great numbers and thier size has also doubled (making one , without proper knowledge of difference between whities and herring, would think the herring was a whitie).You hit the lake in June, in the earlly AM,you will see them surfacing.Also if you are down rigg,n for lakers and whities,you will get more hits by herring then you will the other.I have had my screen full and they were herring. Not sure when they will open them again,but if they do,Im sure there will be a limit set. If they do open them again,I,ll be taking my feed.Great under the broiler with salt/pepper and butterdill.

And you catch them from shore aswell.

All the pros that are in the know,have picked Barrie and Windsor to meet in the finals.Barrie is up 3-1 against Mississaga(as expected) but the Kitchener Rangers are spanking Windsor.All that talent Windsor has , thier on thier way out,down 3-0. Ya think they(the rangers) want a piece of Park? Park,for those that dont know,was Kitcheners goalie that we picked up in a trade.Great one if you ask me. PLAYOFFS one just never knows.

Last year I bought one of these and raved about it,s performance.I never had an issue with it (yet),but seems someone may have. They are being recalled. When useing the saw side,the saw could jam,then your hand could slip off the handle and onto the blade. They have redesigned the handle. I,ll be calling in for my new one,when I get home.

About 6 years ago, as many know,the perch fishing here in tha fall had made the word out and about.TV celibs, and word of mouth.Lots of people started fishing the bay here.LOTS OF PERCH TO BE HAD.One report about guys catching and bringing thier coolers to dock and then transfering them to land coolers, then heading out for another run, got word to the MNR. Calling works, dont kid yourself.8 men were nabbed for over harvest,and thier boats were chained to a tree at the motel they were staying at,til they returned to pay thier fines. I say, keep everything they have at the point,and what ever they used to get to the point inwhich they got to. MNR IS NOT TO BLAME FOR THE INACTIVENESS.IT,S THE ONES THAT DICK TATE.
