Been knocking on alot of websites for the travel part. Man this event is not cheap.Well the race is,but a place to stay is not. I found out we can camp right at the track,so Im looking for a truck cap for my F150 or one of those campers that fit on the back. I would even concider renting someones tent trailer if you have one to offer up.

You split the gas,I even brought lunch for the boater if he wanted it.Lots of times they dont have time to get a lunch ready. Yes it is a draw game. You can get hooked up with one of the top boys,or gals.Yes ladies fish this aswell.Dont laugh,they can kick butt.You can also get hooked up with like Terry said before,someone that maybe lost thier chance at the top spot and they will just fish where ever,but I did not see that when I fished the CFT pro/am. I just like the idea of getting out and learning new stuff,and riding in those fancy shiney machines and going fast.Also,you get to meet great people. Man I have met alot of guys from the events and made some great friends. Stan,I think you would really enjoy your weekend out. Really,for the price of one event,you can say I did this.

Yep, been reading more info about this PRO/AM and Im thinking,and dont jump on me too hard,but,it may not be what everyone wants out of it. I also read,the Am,s only fish 2 of the 3 days.Top 10 pro anglers fish the third. Dont get me wrong,I know it is a blast to be out there,but it,s like taking the ham out of the chesse and ham sandwich with fishing for only 2 days of the 3. JMO. I have sent an email to try and find out what prizes they will be offering up.I still will be doing the event,but may not be all,as I wanted. Im thinking Simcoe and Muskoka will be the two. Also waiting to hear back if the Am.s prizes are handed out on the Saturday or the Sunday. Sunday would mean a lay over to wait for the tourney to finish then head back home. There is to be another pro/am run out of the CSFL. I may jump on a couple of them aswell.Not taking away from the WFN here.It,s all good.

Boat is not important right now.Theres lots of them out there. Need to take care of another dream of someone elses.

Has connections with booking hotel and race tickets for the 50th running of the Daytona 500 in Febuary. Oh and maybe a fishing day. I know theres ebay and the nascar site. Was hopeing to get someone that a member would know from here and hope to not get stiffed.

Hey Cliff Theres always somwething here in Barrie on the side of the road for garbage pick up. I,ll try to build up a bit of inventory,then bring the stuff up to you. Save them going to the dump here.

While I was out bow hunting (deer),my oldest was out on the river trying out his new float reel for the first time for steelhead. He told me there were a couple of guys out there in the same area with him, and they helpped him with the how too,s with a float reel.He learned alot and was pretty excited with his new reel,once he got the sway of things. Nice to hear theres good out there on the rivers.
