Just right for me. I've been fishing for over 30 years and believe some lakes in southern Ontario are overly fished. For an example, Bass fishing in Cooks' Bay (Lake Simcoe) is totally different than 20 years ago. Same as Walleye in lake Scugog. I'm sure they set those limit for a reason, got to follow it.
I did my first ever ice fishing at east shore (Keswick) of Cook's Bay about 26 years ago. Got a few decent size perch in a short time. I still think it's a good place to start!
Happy Fishing!
Happy New Year everyone!
I'm planning a small fishing trip to Haliburton in June. A friend of mine told me Little Kennisis Lake is a pretty good. Have anyone fish there before? What other species are there? Any public launch?
Any information will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
