  1. Awww Mike I'm not sure if I remember hehehe. If you send me a PM I can set you up
  2. Congrats on that fish. What a monster!!!
  3. Well it's been pretty crazy for me the last month with Holidays and such and work as well. In terms of Muskie I have gone 10 for 15 in the last three weeks. I know some people are going to question this and probably not believe me but I have no reason to Bull**** this. I found a honey hole on a lake where my new trailer is. A few nights I went 2 for 3 one night I even went 2for5 I'm telling you it has been just nuts. Almost to the point where I say oh! theres another and my wife laughs. We went out this weekend and the fun had stopped due to the barometer I think. I am just starting to work with this tool as well. Anyways I have posted some of the fish I have caught. Some of the pics aren't the best as I basically try not to hold the fish out of the water for longer then 10 seconds before being released as I don't keep anything. Remember if you are going to target these fish be prepared and use the proper tackle and releasing equipment. Anyways Cheers and rip those lures.
  4. Went out with Lloyd and the new U & Me boat last week for an evening of Chinooks. Lloyd was telling me how the boat was so much better to fish from bit I didn't believe him until we were out. Perfect setup for some monster Chinooks. Went 3 for 7 that night and we were only out for a few hours. Some pics below of the fish. I can't wait to get out on Quinte in that boat. For anyone who needs a good charter for Lake O out of Port Hope of Quinte give Lloyd a call. http://www.stevemorissette.com/uandme/index.html Cheers
  5. Had a charter booked with U&Me Guide Service on June 21st and I cannot do it now. I have put down 175 for deposit so the remaining is 400. Split between 4 people is 100 bucks each. Let me know if anyone wants to take this over as I won't get my deposit back. Cheers Geoff
  6. Sinker if you add 1 oz of Seafoam to every gallon of gas it works as a ring free as well as stabilizer
  7. I personally swear by Seafoam. It is a great ring free product and also a great stabilizer. I have read tons on this product as I am a huge sceptic on additives but I now swear by this stuff. I did a decarbon treatment on my 98 yamaha and boy o boy I thought it ran great before the idle was so smooth for a 25 hp. I can troll down to 1.8mph for eyes and the thing doesn't shake rattle and roll like most 25's would. Cliff I remember reading that you were having some issues with your motor. I would recommend doing a decarbon treatment on that puppy and you won't believe the transformation you will see. If you need a hand let me know and I can drop by and show how to do the treatment. It will clean the carb as well as any carbon deposits inside the motor which 2 strokes are notorious for because of there combustion. Cheers Geoff
  8. Hi Folks, I'm trying to get ready to wire my frying pan. Now heres the main question I think I remember seeing Gerritt do a bunch on his boat. I am trying to find a Fuse panel with switches for each thing preferably with a master if possible but I can't seem to find this anywhere I know I have seen these but when you want it you can't find it.I've tried Crappy, Princess, Auto electric guys and my local marine looked at me like I was on Drugs. Can someone lend a hand and tell me where to get one of these and also should I go with 16 or 14 gauge for the majority of the wiring as in Lights, bilge. The bowmount and sonar have there own wires already. Need some help!!!!! Geoff
  9. One of the advantages to being the sales rep for Atlantic Canada is that I get to see a lot of sights. There is a park in Truro Nova Scotia called Victoria Park and I figured I would try a few shots with the tripod and some slower shutter speeds. I took a lot more but could only manage to upload three with the crappy connection at the hotel. Cheers Geoff
  10. Hey Kemper, I forgot to ask you who you were too LoL names Geoff. I am sure I will bump into you again. I went home and had a bite to eat came back down with the float rod and managed 2 but no camera as my buddy who wanted to come left the cam in the Van. Cheers Geoff
  11. You made a good effort Cliff, sorry for the comment but I had too eheheh Geoff
  12. I recently joined at the fishing show. I am just waiting for them to send me all the details. I mainly joined for support and also because I got the muskie bite 2 years ago and now I am hooked and hoping to meet some new people that can shed some light on things. Cheers Geoff
  13. That is awesome I understand how some people think its stupid but you have to remember these guys are not doing this for the first time they are experienced in how their machines work and how to keep it from boggin down. Plus at that speed you could go for miles.
  14. LOL unfortunately my fishing buddy only took the two fish I caught on his camera. He didnt catch anything which is why I have no fish pics. That and he's afraid to touch my camera.
  15. Hey Folks, Posted a while back that I managed to get a new cam and said I would throw some shots up. They are not the greatest but I am pleased with them for my first real outing using the DSLR its tricky getting Shutter and the Aperture correct everytime as well as a 100 other things too. Have a look and let me know what you guys think, Cheers Geoff If you look at this pic there is a guy in the left corner. I kind of thought of this as the lonely fisherman as he was out there all alone. Jigging to his hearts content.
  16. Thanks Guys, I am in the process of getting it all figured out. I need a couple more lenses though as I only have the 14MM-45MM and I am really wanting a 40MM - 150MM but dam are they ever expensive. I will post some pics once I get rolling. Geoff
  17. Hey Folks, Just bought my first DSLR last night. Olympus EVolt E500 8MP I am very excited to ost some pics once I get a handle on all the buttons and menus Cheers Geoff
  18. Thats what I thought too but I wasn't sureand figure someone here will have the Scientific answer
  19. How do you know which reg to follow with a tiger Muskie as them being a Hybrid. DO they fall under Pike or Muskie Regs. Someone had asked me this the other day and I didnt have an answer. Cheers Geoff
  20. Sounds to me like they pulled a fast one on ya.
  21. I'm a newbie to wiring and will be in the same position in the spring. What do you use for a ground instead of the hull. Is that why you said to run a fuse on both pos and neg
  22. Its a 15" transom and I think I will just look for short shaft
  23. I just bought a 14' princecraft with floors and livewells and such. My question is my boat is a SHort Shaft boat and I have a 15 hp for it now but I know this isn't going to be sufficient. Does anyone know where I can a transom extension kit or has anyone ever made the plates for the transom extension. There are kits out there but I can't seem to find one online and finding a 20 or a 25 HP in a Short Shaft is pretty difficult. Any tips would be great. Thanks Geoff
