  1. Great thats what I thought but I just wanted to make sure before I put them both on there
  2. Hi Folks, Quick question. My boat trailer had 4.8x4x8 on it and I want to put 5.7x8 on it. Besides any clearance issues would these do any damage to the hubs or bearings. Thanks Geoff
  3. Well Boys and Girls, I appreciate everyones advice on where to go but it didnt help much today. It started out at the marina went pretty well. Headed left form the marina (Snug Harbour) rippin some bucktails and nothing. Started to get a lil rough nothing major so then we trolled a few things and holy smokes talk about rough. I have a cottage on Rice and that lake gets pretty rough but man o man the waves were comin over the back of the boat. So we headed out of there and on the way home stopped in Scugy for a bit. We got out, it rained and the guy I was with wasn't into it so we just headed home. Got wet, a lil tired and not even a follow on my new muskie setup. Geeezzzz thats fishin for ya. I do plan on going back to strugeonthough sometime before summers out it looked really nice. lake and weed structure a lot clearer than rice I couldnt believe it for a Kawartha mind you Rice and now Sturgeon are the only 2 Kawarthas I have fished in a long time. Cheers Geoff
  4. Hi Guys, thanks alot for all of your responses, I am going to launch at Snug I dont mind paying a few bucks to launch. I do have a fishfinder no GPS as of yet. I really appreciate all of the suggestions you guys are great. Hopefully I can post a few pics tomorrow night. Cheers Gnoddy
  5. Hey Fishndevil is the Bob McGary the ex Principal I remember in High Scholl he ran our Fishing Club. WHat a great guy he is. Cheers
  6. Bill, Is Snug before the locks or after I don't mind paying to launch if it's after the locks. I only have a 14ft tinny and I'm not to interested in going through the locks. I was talking to a local shop there and he showed me the public launch and then he mentioned there was one before the locks that you can use but then you have to travel the locks. Geoff
  7. Hey Bill, Thanks alot I appreciate the help. Geoff
  8. Howdy Folks, Heading to Sturgeon on Sunday, can anyone give me an idea how the fish have been. Will be targeting muskie and Pics. I haven't fished this lake before and I am going to launch in lindsay I think. Tightlines Gnoddy

  11. Hi Folks, Headin to Jack Lake on Saturday and a buddy of mine mentioned that there are some spots that are sanctuary. Is this the case and is it all year round. Also if anyone has had any success there within the last month it would be greatly appreciated. I bought a boat a few months back and I think it is cursed. I have been out probably about 5 times and haven't managed to boat anything which is really starting to tick me off because as soon as I jump in a buddies boat I can't stop catchin fish. The boat was painted this hunter green color so I came home tonight and figured I would paint it and crisin it by breakin a beer on it. I hope this works. Cheers Gnoddy
  12. Takin the wife out fishing this weekend and can't decide where to go. I live in Oshawa and dont mind driving an hour or so. We usually fish Rice only because we have a cottage there but I want to try something else. Any tips would be great and knowledge of a boat launch would really help as well. I am sure on of the kawarthas is where we will end up but just not sure where to go for a launch spot. Cheers G noddy
  13. I was in Sam's shop today and the stuff he does is unreal there was a fish in there that Glen and I had talked about last time I was in and I think Glen said that it was like 20 years old and it looked like it was a fresh mount. I vouch for Sam's work it's really well done and I will definately be trying to get him a fish to mount this year.
  14. Ya both times I have been out we have gotten into some pretty big bows. I love the bows because they are acrobats as soon as the hit the top of the water. Cheers Gnoddy
  15. It all started when we showed up to the peer at 4:45 got on the boat were out on the water and lines set by 5:15. Within 10 mins first Chinook of the day Then 10 minutes later the first rainbow of the day I brought my wife out for the first time I have recently just got her into fishing and she was a bit aprehensive about going out and hooking into a big salmon but when she boated this one she was so happy I thought I wouldn't ever get her off the boat It went quiet for about 1/2 hour and then bang double header which was really fun cause she was freakin pretty serious faces eh LoL And then another double header End of the day photo I am a big guy and my arms were freaking sore after holding this monster up Best pic of the day I have been out with Lloyd for Walleye, Salmon and Rainbow and haven't been dissapointed yet. He is running an OFC Special for July offering 10% off for the day we were only out until 10 because we had an appointment to go to but a total of 17 fish on and 12 boated made for an excellent day as always. The best thing about being out with Lloyd is that its only you and one other person which makes for an exciting day not having to wait to fight any fish. I will be going again very soon, my lil brother has been buggin me to take him out . I also have put a link to Lloyds site below if anyone is interested in a day that you'll definately go home with sore arms. http://www.reeltimecharters.net/uandme/ Cheers Gnoddy

  17. Hey Folks, Dont mean to be a rude but I have to tell you. I am in the east coast on business for two weeks and seeing as I have a weekend in there with nothin to do I figure I would give it a shot and see if I could get out with a guide. Sure enough I have a horseshoe in the right place and I managed to get a ride with Country Haven lodge. I was talking to the head guide today, he said the season opened last weekend and they have had days with 70-120 fish so far. Ohhhhh Man I am excited for Atlantic Salmon. I will take as many pics as I can and post em Cheers Gnoddy
