courses that have tour events DO stock the ponds. Angus Glen stocked a few ponds in the past (2007) because Tiger, Mark O'M, Davis Love III and a few others love to bass fish in the 'down time' for the week they are there at the event. Others that are smaller, not so much. But if a river runs through it, you never know...

ok, so I took all the advise here with a grain of salt and decided to do what I figured was best. took some older paintballs and put some gas in. had a buddy hold up a lit blowtorch while I pulled the trigger. I got it in one shot, yeah baby!!! Here is the final result.

Hey all. So I get a call from my wife today to tell me ny new Compre DS rod is in and I'm happy as can be (no punn with the wasp post ). I get home and I check the mail and there is a nice looking and working line counter reel in the mail box! I get all giddy like a school girl and sure enough it's from aplumma (AKA Art)! He told me he was going to send one of his old one's to me for free from another past post! Talk about a nice thing he could do eh?! So now I'm set for my BOQ trip with a new trolling combo (new rod and new to me LC reel) and a new drop shot rod as well! Yeee ha, it's a good day... Geoff

Hey all. I need some ideas on how to get a wasp nest down from the peak of my house that is 40' off the ground. I don't have a ladder to get up that high and I don't want to go out the door on the 2nd floor (it's now ready for winter). Are there any telescopic poles that long out there? Thanks. G
