Guys i wana buy 1 boat.Can any1 tell me if it is good deal Boat is 1996 SmokerCraft Bigfisherman 16" Aluminum 1996 Johnson 40hp 2 stroke outboard with power tilt/trim Very good trailer eagle fish finder good bilage pump oars,etc tuned up 2 weeks ago 1 owner less used(as per owner) boat has livewell outboard is oil injected condition of boat is very good. there was very small damage to boat about 3" inch.but it was very well fixed he is asking $2250 for it.Can any1 tell me if this is good price.let me know asap. thank you Also can any1 tell me if this boat would be ok for trolling in Lake Ontario for salmon fishing.

Guys.Does any1 know any marine mechanic in GTA.my old Johnson outboard has choke problem.I called Bluffers park marina and they are asking too much $$ just to check.If you know some1 who is doing repair at home and has reasonable price pls let me know.thank you. Here is problem i am having.if some1 know the solution it would be great. My outboard is starting.The outboard is running when choke is on.As soon as i put choke back off the motor stops running in around 15 sec.I noticed that choke is not going all the way in as it was going in before.Also when the motor is running the put speed lever to fast i dont see any increase in the speed of motor.can some1 tell me what could be the problem.Your great help would be appreciated.thank you

i just checked the plug.it has White & Black wire.i will try to see if i can get female plug.if not i will try to get guage wire with a 20amp inline fuse and try with it.BTW,do u think i can try using my Starting battery cause i dont have deep cycle battery.let me know and thx for help

hello guys i am going tomorrow to BPS to get new fish finder.can any1 tell me which 1 should i get.i don't want very high tech .The basic which does job perfect would be enough for me.fish finder with speed meter would be really good.i am willing to spend around $180.pls reply asap.thx also is the any other way other then fish finder & gps to measure speed of the boat.i wana see if my boat can troll.

Guys i have 14 foot boat.I have bought manual scooty downrigger & rod/reels.Can an1 tell me what size cannon ball should i get.i will be getting depth finder soon. secondly,what should i use as bait other then spoon to catch salmon. Thank you very much for all suggestion members gave me.I appreciated very much.My outboard finally started today and it is running great.Yesterday we didn't chocked the engine so it was not starting.Today my bro some how figure out how to chock and in first try the outboard started.I am very happy today.Once again thx to all who replied

thx buddy. the vent on top of cap is fixed.I asked my bro to try to open it but it doesn't.Also tried pliers&wrench to open it but it looks like it is fixed to cap.pls let me know.thx

thx i will try that. when i pump the gas it leaks little bit by the pipe connecting to outboard.do u think this is problem.actually i had to go work today so hopefully tomorrow morning i will try out all suggestion i got from members.i will let you know what happens. i still cannot figure out where the kill switch would be.thx any more suggestion is welcome
