    Montreal is small, weak and Price has a match in Rask. Bruins in 5! 3 hab players won't even make it home to play, they will be crushed in Boston. Eller, Ghallager and Patchoretti Goin down!

    Considering the Senators have made the playoffs 9 of the last 11 years and the laffs only 2 of 12, I would say you would be lucky to have Ottawa charm rubbed your way, but as it is , we give enough to local charities.

    Yup, you have to think that at some point during the Wings-Bruins (two storied proud teams)game last night, disgraced laffs fans were watching with jaws gaping, a bit of drool dripping from the sides of their mouths, and were collectively thinking........OH MY GOD, THIS IS WHAT HOCKEY IS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE. A revelation like no other. From years of watching crappy teams and lackluster performances, laff fans completely forgot what hockey is supposed to be like and played. There's always next year laffites.

    Starting the season off with a week long canoe trip in Algonquin park May 10th, then a few trips to the big o for some salmon and browns, the last week of July will be spent chasing lakers on the big rideau and finally a week in New Brunswick for Atlantic salmon and stripers. Naturally I'll be making my regular trips to the larry for muskies and as many outings in my backyard on the Ottawa as I can manage. Gotta lotta fishn to do this year lol

    Please read! When I was a kid, I had a superhero. Not just any superhero, my superhero was Batman, Superman, Spiderman and the Hulk all rolled up into one. My superhero knew everything about fishing and caught the biggest fish, he flew fighter jets in the sky and drove snowmobiles in the deepest coldest winter. He could do anything. Then as I got older and thought I knew everything, I got stupid, and rebelled against my superhero. Like a fool I distanced myself from him and we didn't talk for years. I am so thankful for my wife giving me 2 beautiful daughters as they gave reason to once again see my superhero, but things were never the same and there was always a sense of awkwardness when I was around him. But we had a common connection, his grandkids! Now my superhero has been diagnosed with cancer, and it's not good. I think so much of the past and what I have missed, not only me, but what I took from him, the opportunity to have fond memories of his son. I only hope he forgives me. So as I selfishly reflect on what could have been, I feel the overwhelming need to talk to and apologize to my superhero and hope he forgives me. It's going to be hard. So, if you find yourself in a situation like I was, fix it, because you might not get the chance. Life is too short to be filled with regret. I love you dad!

    Are you kidding? With the way the Sens were playing , I'm relieved the season is over for them. I can only imaging how the laffites feel with 11 losses in their last 13 games lol. As for real hockey. Subban was a detriment to his team and was responsible for 2 of the Tampa goals. That was the only game I watched, The real games start tonight.

    Flush twice Ottawa, it's a long way to Toronto! Seriously though, what an embarrassment that a historic, heritage river is being allowed to be mistreated this way. I have been on the water after one of the spills and it ain't pretty. Putrid, brown slick on the water, naturally we left in disgust. Kinda like a mass exodus after a laff game lol

    Seriously though! Thanks guys for all the chat, ribbing and overall good hockey discussions. My Sens are out, the laffs are out, as are 5 of 6 Canadian teams. Hopefully next year our sad sack teams can put together a better effort so we can be entertained into the month of June rather than pulling our hair out in April. Well, for me I'll continue to watch and enjoy some high level playoff hockey and will cheer for an underdog along the way. Cheers! Now we fish eh?
